Love it. I’ve ran a few Vortech setups over the years and had that Mondo bypass/Power pipe setup from AFM. I even dyno’d that setup in my ‘91 LX at Anderson Ford back in the days. It was pretty trick, but those renegade brackets look like a PITA…never used them.

3M makes a “bristle disc” with “fingers”. They’re not cheap, but they’re great for cleaning up mating surfaces. They’re non-abrasive. You gotta buy like a dozen of them, but they’re worth it. They last a while as well. Check them out.
I wish they had that set up back when I was running a Vortech.

Have the renegade bracket kit with a novi 2000 and its alot to deal with when doing top end work,, but its a stronger system and looks great

I went to the renegade bracket on my Procharger F1A. I love it. I was thinking about the T trim. I went 12 rib and you don't see as them as much as Vortech or Paxton

Coat the threads on the arbor bolt on the tensioner good with never seize to avoid problems later.

It ain’t that bad. They have a good diagram showing what goes where as far as spacers and bolts. My buddy and I recently installed a YSi using the same bracket on my Windsor. Took us like 4-5 hours. Something we’ve never done before. 🤷♂️

Damn I need some engine mods! I drove a new 5500mile 2022 GMC u haul box van (small 10' box) and I got on it and it it hauled alright! I looked under the hood and it had GM's new latest and greatest HD truck gas engine a 6.6l It has 401hp and 464ft lbs of TQ... Direct injection 10.8:1 compression blah blah and I will say it would easily gap my stock 95 5 speed 5.0! It had the same effect on both my son and I which was flatten it from 30mph get planted in the seat and brought on a huge laugh and holy shit wtf it's a van?!? Very discouraging to say the least like I said it's a box van!!!

So, is there by chance any way I could contact you? I have a video I’d like you to see because I’m stumped on what this noise my car is making is. It sounds like a horrible exhaust leak but I can’t find any leaks that would be bad enough to make the noise it’s making. Then I though it was valvetrain but nothing I could see was wrong

Man I seen an all original Calypso 5.0 GT a few days ago. I started to ask the guy what he wanted for it, then he tells me he bought it last year for $3,200
He's not interested in selling it, and his 20 something son wants it if he decides to get rid of it. She was pretty tho.
