I have had spinteck mufflers with Mach pro chamber hpipe on my 91 gt for 20 years love them have had nothing but compliments. Even Chevy guys say they love the way my car sounds . I love them so much I got another pair for my new 363 turbo build!!
17:35 I still have my 65 Mustang Fastback from high school. I graduated in 1988. Paid $6k for it. Dark metallic green , black pony interior, A/c , 289 , C-code , C4. It's had lots done to it since. I ran 67 Shelby GT 500 , 15×7 10 spoke wheels. With 225/60/15 tires. Still have the wheels plus torque thrusts. Offset milled back in the 90's. May run some 16×8 torque thrusts or Vintage Wheels Works wheels. Your car sounds great looks great. Thanks for sharing. I blew up the 289, now it has a Lightning short block,351w AFR heads, Lunati solid roller cam, JBA headers, Edelbrock intake. Etc. Those rear brake scoops are functional, if you want them . My father, bought an original numbers matching 67 Shelby GT 500 in 1985. I still have the car. Shelby engineered those to cool the rear brakes. The duct work goes behind the interior panels. However, they do collect lots of little rocks over time. Shelby did some unique engineering back then. Thanks for sharing.
You and crew should be Damn! Proud of this car. From where it came from to now is amazing. Y’all knocked it out. I’m a Fox guy, but appreciate the amount of work, effort, and outcome on this!
I have a 64 Ranchero I built in the early 90’s. To say the engine bay is tight is an understatement statement. I installed a set of Hooker Super Comp headers for Ford Falcons. They were crap. They hit both shock towers, the starter, idler arm, pitman arm, and the ground going in and out of driveways. Bought a set of Doug’s headers which were guaranteed to fit. They touched the idler arm. Called company and they told me to mark the header where they touched. They sent UPS to pick up the header. With in a week they returned my header with a dent where the header was hitting along with a note that they would fix their design and send me a new set. A few weeks later a new set was delivered. Comparing the old and new revealed they actually moved one of the tubes. I even got to keep the original set which I sold to another Falcon owner. Doug’s Headers is top notch company with great customer service. Your Mustang sounds great and looks even better. Great job.
I had Spintech's on my Foxbody back in the early 2000's. Posted an idle clip on a Four-eyed forum and somebody commented that they sounded like the beginning of Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher". Guy was right.
You guys did an awesome job. Looks incredible and sounds even better. I’ve been in love with spintech exhaust for about 15 years. I’ve had them on all my mustangs and now my Raptor. Nothing sounds like them. Keep up the great work and awesome content. Y’all are a very valuable piece of the Fox community. I appreciate y’all.
Look into a high heat resistant sleeve to run the clutch cable through if you haven't done so already. Here at work we use some sort of material to wrap hydraulic lines on fork lifts to help with molten aluminum from burning through the lines. It holds up very well to metal splashes.
A really, really good choice in mufflers? Different Trend. An engineer at a friend's shop learned exhaust from 'old man' Bassani, worked at Holley for years. When we were doing the exhaust on my old Mopar, which is set up for handling & long haul TDS events, that's what he had me buy. $38 each, 409 stainless, fully welded, 2.5" and they won't drone, be stupid loud and/or make you deaf when you do a 17.5 hour run. Plus, my neighbors don't want to kill me when I leave for work at 0530 in the AM in the Plymouth.
Hell yeah man the car looks beautiful. Take your time. I was like that once rushing to get things together just wanted to see it. Slow down we can wait. You do great work.
First played with spintechs in 2003 on a '88 mustang. Then ran them again in 2007 on a '00 Lightning. Here I am, over 20 years later needing some additional muffling after going longtubes on a current build, and spintechs are going back in. I don't remember ever getting any hate except for "they sound like flowmasters." Well...yea. All chambered mufflers sound like chambered mufflers. The advantage over the flowmasters is reduced interior drone.
I used headman 351w swap headers and the cable runs through without touching. I still used a heat deflector wrapped around the clutch cable and have had no trouble
Grey ghost sounds amazing. Im waiting for my spintech 9000s should be here this weekend and it should complement the e303 in my 88 coupe. Also doing a budget rebuild on the short block as we speak. Should all come together nicely. Oh yeah the foxresto rebuild on my a9l was some of the best money ive spent on this car to date. Unfortunately the tired lil 302 got jealous so here we go. Over 200k on it so im not complaining.
What a freaking great choice on those wheels, when i thought she looked perfect already and you busted out these new wheels, she is perfect money!! And she should be the grey ghost lumberjack she chopping some serious trees.
Those shims make a huge difference sometimes. I had an ‘03 ram pickup that I’d lowered. That caused me a pretty significant shake because of the driveshaft angle. Put the 3* shim in and it cured my issues.
I don’t know your cam or duration but it sounds exactly like my 289 67 cougar I don’t remember my cam or anything. I do have an Edelbrock manifold with the Edelbrock carb headers and Flowmaster for the exhaust. I haven’t been able to get my clutch to work properly though I’m thinking on transferring to a cable or doing hydraulic clutch.
I've been wanting a set of tri-y's for my fox body. Will these tri-y headers fit on a standard 302ci 8.2 deck motor that comes in a fox body? If so where can I order a pair from?
Wheels look really good on there ! Spintech ,one of the worst flowing mufflers next to Flowdisasters you could install. Why would you use a positive pinion angle? Its going to go more positive when launching or mashing the pedal . -3 to -4° is the norm set up, high horse power 1000+ hp could be as much as 6° negative.
I really like this set up. Im thinking a 347 stroker, with a TKX Trans and using my 8in rear end with 3.55 gears. Is this a good set up? I would be installing in a 68 fastback. My engine block is a 302 bored 030. What would need to be ordered for a carb set up for this car?
Why use a cable clutch set up, when you can either build or buy a steel scatter shield and run mechanical linkage? I'm working on a 65 Mustang resto-rod, and I'm going to fab up my own steel bell housing for it.
Clutch cables: $170 each and eventually will melt no matter how well wrapped they are or will eventually stretch/break because they're just cables. . Malwood hydraulic clutch pedal + DazeCars slave cylinder: $827 and will outlive you.
That motor scooter looks amazing, it came a long way from being at Papa T's to what it looks like now👍 just want to know if your gonna film Papa T driving it???
It's come together nicely here.. 😉 You guys have have got to proud 🥲!!! I know you were thrashing to get ready for the big show, though you've got to cover the clutch cable for up, with the new headers in the next installment.. I've so many guys with that problem, and many wind up going hydraulic w/slave cylinder, which comes with its own headaches... We want to know, how you feel the clearance after all that work... God bless..
Can you provide a detailed video on the whole degreeing of the drive train? I own a 66 Mustang and there is not much out there that details this process (i.e. why, rationale etc)
Those wheels just look right on that car. She is beautiful with the attitude of a cold blooded killer looking for her next victim. Great job and I'm sure you're proud of her. Watch out, the Grey Ghost is back. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
I like what you have done to that car very much. Are you planning a supercharger for it with the compression below 10? Keep up your good works. They are very much appreciated.
Hello Brew2L. Love the Magnum 500s over the Torque Thrust! I love when people do things differently. Makes your car stand out from the crowd. Oh, it sounds pretty nasty too!
WOW talk about bad ass bro lovin the Spintechs I am getting a set for the Royal Fox killer!!!✌👊🦊And those rims are sweet dahmn!! I have a 306 with E7 marine heads will the N91 work in my fox looking also for gt 40 heads 3 bars
SPINTECH,love my pro 9000s,got a question call them and talk to Ron,good people and better mufflers.Ive used them for around 10 years now, even have spintech x pipe and dual pro 9000s on my 2020 tundra, people turn heads when i go above 2k rpm, sound great and like this stang, you hear the cam working, all you get with blow masters or others is a muffled drone.look all over y-tube and best sounding #1 flowing is Spintech for sure.

I could listen to that idle all day long !
Man, I was so sure I wasn't going to like those wheels on that car, but was blown away when i actually saw them on there! They look f'n great!
SAME!

Had SpinTech Pros on my old 89 vert! Absolutely LOVED them!
Doug's and spintech(9000's) over here too!
Been 5 years and the headers still look brand new!
They fit like a glove!
They are great fitting headers 👌
Gray ghost is so beautiful in person! The videos doesn't do justice. Great job and thank you for sharing info and keeping us motivated!
That's what I have on my 89 convertible and I have their side exit exhaust setup it sounds amazing with my 274 comp cam.
Spin tech mufflers is what I put on last year. I like the sound , I m glad you like them and shared it the video
Magnum 500's are my favorite wheel, period. And even though the Torq Thrusts look great, the Magnums look amazing on The Grey Ghost.
Dude it’s gorgeous. I had a red 66 coupe in high school and I’ll never get over not having that car anymore.
Damn I love the magnum 500 wheels. I thought the torque thrusts were the wheel for that car but u nailed it. I love your collection of cars.

I wish mine sounded like that 🤩 the grey ghost has turned into one bad ass ride 🤘
Hell yeah man the car looks beautiful. Take your time. I was like that once rushing to get things together just wanted to see it. Slow down we can wait. You do great work.
I understand what you’re saying. But I have to get after it to make stuff happen
got cha
What is the width of the rim in the back? Tire is 275 I heard. Thanks

@@BREW2LFOXBODY Thank you very much
Doesn't matter what I think, with that said it's perfect! The sound and look is amazing! Great job.👍
Thank you very much! 🤣👌
I've got a 66' Fastback, what is your suspension setup?
Nice glad you finished it.. glad you're happy. I know momma brew2l is too!!
Thank you! 🙏
long tubes, x-pipe, spintech's with exhaust going all the way out the back is music!
Sounding really good! Such a beautiful car and a really cool build. Y’all should be dam proud
The car looks great and sounds mean. Great job
Spintechs have always been in the top choices for mufflers in the 04-06 GTO community. Spintechs make V8 music🤤
First played with spintechs in 2003 on a '88 mustang. Then ran them again in 2007 on a '00 Lightning. Here I am, over 20 years later needing some additional muffling after going longtubes on a current build, and spintechs are going back in.

This is one of the best sounding cars i've heard.
Man it sounds amazing!! Car turned out beautiful!! Great job.

Awesome 👍 I'm looking at replacing the dynomax ultra flow muffler's with the Jones muffler's or spin tech.
Don't do it ! Dynomax out flows them big time ,unless you're all about the sound and not performance then have at it . From experience.
Those wheels really brought it together! Looks great man.
Soooo BADASS!! Perfect wheel/tire combo and stance
Good choice on getting the 6000’s I put 9000’s on my fox and 65mph and up is ridiculous loud
I’m glad that you decided to go ahead and do that 65 really looks good. Be proud. Great job.
🙏

That Horse sounds Angry!! 👍👍
Sounds good with the new mufflers and looks good with American Racing Wheels!
It has a wicked sounding chop...it's a beautiful beast of a ride.
The grey ghost looks absolutely beautiful, and honestly sounds perfect!
One bad ass car you got there my friend!!
Beautiful!! You gotta get a lot of head turns in that thing.
Looks and sounds amazing. Great work. Really enjoy your channel and your outlook on life.
I was definitely ready to dislike the new wheels but dang they look great on there. I love it.
🤣👌
Nailed it with the wheel choice!
Thank ya big burger 💪
She’s a beaut “Clark”!!!! Bruh she’s absolutely on fire!!! Stunning ASS RIDE!!! You all should be so happy!!!
I went through like 3 or 4 clutch cables when i swapped to a t5 on my 65. Got sick of it so i just went hydraulic. Kept my longtubes
I have spin teks for my 67 coupe with a rowdy 306 and T5
Had spintech Oval 9000 series on my Z06 and I have the 6000 series on my 68 camaro. I love spintech.
Why use a cable clutch set up, when you can either build or buy a steel scatter shield and run mechanical linkage? I'm working on a 65 Mustang resto-rod, and I'm going to fab up my own steel bell housing for it.
I love the Magnum 500's! The Spintechs sound great too... I have dumped Spintech 9000's on my Fox vert
I’ve run into problem like your. Latch cable before. They make an asbestos insulated tubing for aircraft that works great. Pricey but good stuff.
Excellent job car came out amazing sounds awesome love it
Clutch cables: $170 each and eventually will melt no matter how well wrapped they are or will eventually stretch/break because they're just cables. .
Malwood hydraulic clutch pedal + DazeCars slave cylinder: $827 and will outlive you.
Sweet car full of love and Hp under the hood love it I had a 65 in the seventys.i miss my ride.
Looks awesome, sounds awesome, love it. 😊
That motor scooter looks amazing, it came a long way from being at Papa T's to what it looks like now👍 just want to know if your gonna film Papa T driving it???
Thanks! I’ll film if he ever decides to drive it lol
I have the spintech 9000s on mine. Sounds killer with the b cam
What is the terminator x controlling on that car?? Timing only??
It's come together nicely here.. 😉 You guys have have got to proud 🥲!!! Magnums FTW...sounds SICK!
Those wheels just look right on that car. She is beautiful with the attitude of a cold blooded killer looking for her next victim. Great job and I'm sure you're proud of her. Watch out, the Grey Ghost is back. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
Love it!!! Especially the wheels and exhaust.
Oh My God that is a sweet car, congratulations on putting together a great combination!
Hey love you 65 mustang, I’ve been looking for those tires, what sizes and are they off set? Thanks,
Car looks beautiful! You might want to get one of them “honk if parts fall off” bumper stickers 😂
Lmao. I might just do that 😢🤣
I like what you have done to that car very much. Are you planning a supercharger for it with the compression below 10? Keep up your good works. They are very much appreciated.
The change of wheels 👍 love the look and sound of that car ✌️
Man, that car is sick, you can tell she's moving some air.
Been muffler shopping for my 88 bronco (stock 5.0 carbed E cam) I wonder how those Spintecks will sound on it? The stang sounds nasty!
I'd like to see dyno comparisons between spintechs and straight through bullet style perforated core mufflers
Typically not as good. That’s where all the hate came from years ago.
What made you go for the 6000 and not the 9000?
I just prefer the sound of the 6’s but 9’s are nice too 👌
What’s the flow with spin tech’s because sound doesn’t always equal power
Love spin tech 6000 have them on my 01 gt
Hello Brew2L. Love the Magnum 500s over the Torque Thrust! I love when people do things differently. Makes your car stand out from the crowd. Oh, it sounds pretty nasty too!
Curious on why don’t you use the original linkage.
I have the same wheels on my 67 cougar, had them since they came out in early 2017, but I put cougar center caps on my rims, they look much better
What a beautiful car! Hard work pays off great job as always.
Got spintech on my 96 impala going to upgrade to the 9000 series from the 6000 series
Sounds and looks healthy...... makes me wish I had my 67 back again....
Malwood for the clutch, no mass cable. Beautiful car.
The magnums are the way to go imho. Car looks awesome with them. Great fit; great stance.
the rims look good!
I've been running spintech 6000 for years now. I got 2 of my buddies running them now too.
Absolutely love it!!!!!!
Looks amazing man! Perfection!
Thank you
@@BREW2LFOXBODY yes sir! 😉🫡
SPINTECH,love my pro 9000s,got a question call them and talk to Ron,good people and better mufflers.Ive used them for around 10 years now, even have spintech x pipe and dual pro 9000s on my 2020 tundra, people turn heads when i go above 2k rpm, sound great and like this stang, you hear the cam working, all you get with blow masters or others is a muffled drone.look all over y-tube and best sounding #1 flowing is Spintech for sure.
sure miss the HOOKER SUPER COMP turbo mufflers - they were dynomax mufflers but no fiberglass insulation - really deep turbo muffler sound
So when u tried the flowmasters u think the spintechs sound better? I think these sound incredible!
Sweet ride!! Awesome!!
