@@Zack_410It does now after a lot of rest and more healthy living, but 2002-2009 it was totally shot. Noel had to take over big parts of vocals coz Liam just couldn’t hit them.
That tune is such a vibe! Liam’s voice w Noel’s songwriting = genius. They are my fav band and I’ve got a huge record collection. U just cannot help but feel happy and in a good mood after listening to these guys. Also, I love Liam and Noel’s harmonies. There’s just something about two brothers harmonizing that is so cool. Their voices complement each other so well.
@@stevens5541 I saw them live a few times. They never failed to deliver. A quintessential slice of English rock n roll, rivalled live only by Slade I think.
Didn't know you was an Oasis fan, Biz! New sub, but just been watching your stand-up reactions, which are great, btw. Let's get down with some Oasis tunes, brother! This was 2 years ago, and they've reunited for a tour in 2025. Pow pow! I got tickets for the first gig on the fourth of Ju-Ly my friend! Big love dude! ❤ ✌️😎
Thanks for doing this, it's brought Oasis back into my life. Fade In-Out and It's gettin better (man) are good as well..along with everything else they've done but I especially like those songs. Keep up the good work, my man!
ending a song like that on a casual cheers is another level of confidence that will never translate. will never explain how much these guys meant to people They are beyond the meaning of any other Mickey Mouse copy cat that tries to to pretend they invented this sound... Beatles on steroids. Beautiful.
Smashing it bro am really enjoying watching you go down the oasis rabbit hole 👊🏻 . You definitely need to reveiw the whole debut album (Definitely maybe) then move on to their second album (whats the story morning glory) both are absolute masterpieces 🔥
Thank you for doing this! Next could you please do Fade In Out or D'ya Know What I Mean (Gmex '97). Or Some Might Say or Acquiesce (Maine Road '96). Really anything Oasis would be great. Loved your reaction. Slide Away is such a classic, Liam still keeps it in his setlists, including at Knebworth earlier this month! 26 years later & he's still got it. He also sang the Oasis song Roll It Over, which had never been played live before, until this tour, & it was MAGICAL. I'd love to see you react to that one someday. Thanks again!
I was there. With my just separated girlfriend and friends. Got stoned and fell asleep half way through their set. Then took us six hours to get out of the car park due the traffic leaving. Good times?? I think
That’s just started my daily Oasis fix… 29 years and still counting 😂 Even if you don’t react to the studio version, you should check it out… The vocals on it are among Liams very finest! I think it’s a shame as Liam’s voice declined, Noel’s guitaring improved… So we never really got to hear the best of them… Even so, I think in terms of best bands ever, they’re somewhere in the top one!😉
@@watchbizmatik search their concert called ‘Live by the Sea’ performed in 1995. The live performances from that concert are 🔥 just as they were ‘blowing up’ in the U.K. Liam’s vocals mirror the album given the time of the recording You might have more joy with them not getting blocked 👍🏼
Their 1st gig at Glastonbury is their best set that I've seen them play tho. Was going to watch The Prodigy who clashed with their set but got to see a bit of both acts

Liam Gallagher in 2022 decided to revisit those Oasis gigs 24 years later as a solo artist, selling out 2 nights at Knebworth to 160K fans (80K a night) in June and played 'Slide away' along w/ a string of classic Oasis songs w/ his solo band. Bloody mint, these blokes. I used to be able to sing exactly like Liam before mi muscular dystrophy tore me down, and when I was in my teens I had mi hair cut like his, and I smoked the same brand of cigarettes, and all the rest. ‘Slide Away’ was off their first record, ‘Definitely Maybe’. Liam Gallagher’s voice in the 90’s was just incredible! He suffered because of it as he got older but he gave it absolutely everything all the time!

Oasis are my favourite band, artist ever. Thank you for sharing this
No one should use their voice this way. Liam did it and we are very grateful to him!
THE LIAM GALLAGHER SINGING POSTURE IS ICONIC. NOBODY IN THE WORLD SINGS IN THAT POSTURE.

I was there that day/night, part of music history
Not sure where ‘Clip your toenails’ came from but Liam said it a few times between songs
Perhaps referring to Noel's liberal use of the pedal?
Someone was shouting "cut your hair" in the crowd and that was Liam's response
Liam and Noel are always on their bs w the crowd. To me, it makes them more entertaining bc they actually engage w their fans.

"Supersonic". Do the studio version.

A journey worth diving into…especially their early albums, try Cigarettes and Alcohol.
