What’s not to love about Stevie? He is a genius singer, songwriter, musician, producer and humanitarian. Still have my album Songs In The Key of Life. Everything on that album is fabulous. Thank you for another great reaction to Stevie. 👏👏❤️
Songs in the Key of Life is about as perfect a double album as exists. If Rob and Amber were ever to do a live album listening session this should be at or near the top of the list.
I agree! Thanks to both of you for reacting to I WISH from a brilliant songwriter and artist. Even those who cover his songs get bathed in his genius. Speaking of which, do you know what I wish? I wish you would react to the energetic and rockin' cover of Stevie Wonder's song HIGHER GROUND, as performed by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I think you would both really enjoy it. When you do it, please react to their official music video. So fun! Btw-the bass is killin' it in that song!
Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" is one of the greatest albums of all time as recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine, Billboard, and a variety of other music experts. There are a multitude of iconic songs on this album. This entire album is worth listening to not just as an iconic sound of the 70s but also as one of the most important albums that inspired many artists and whose impact is still felt today.
I agree with Stevie: "I wish those days could come back once more. Why did those days ever have to go?"😢 🤣😘 Thank you to the genius that is Mr. Stevie Wonder!!!✌❤
This, along with "Superstition", are my favorite Stevie Wonder songs. The instrumentation is bonkers, the story is so relatable, and it's just plain fun to jam to. What more can you want? And yes, Will Smith did sample this song for "Wild Wild West", which was featured in the movie of the same name that starred him. It also sampled "Wild Wild West", the 1988 rap song by Kool Moe Dee. If I had to nominate your next Stevie song, I would recommend one of his minor hits in the 80s, "Go Home". It's been one of my dark horse favorites that I always seem to return to when I'm in a Stevie mood.

Not only did "Wild Wild West" sample this, but Stevie's in the video with Will! For my money, the five albums Stevie recorded between Music of My Mind and this Songs in the Key of Life are up there with the greatest continuous musical output of any artist ever. Maybe only The Beatles from Revolver to Abbey Road can equal him.
Spot on regarding Stevie's winning streak, 1971-1980. Only the Beatles came close to his dominance and transformational effect on music when he was on top.

'AS' is a masterpiece song on a masterpiece album! ... Being a southern redneck in high school in the late seventies we had Zeppelin and Skynyrd and Stevie all on the 8 track! 'Songs in The Key of Life' was special.

I was fortunate to meet him while at university and attend his concerts later that day. It ranks as the only concert I left early. I sadly had to leave because I had an exam at 8AM and a concert that began at 8PM was still going at 3AM! It was epic! He had a full band with horns, background singers, percussionists, and dancers, especially for the song "As" which was the last song I saw. I had front row seats for it. This was when "Part Time Lover" and "Overjoyed" were popular. There was no internet, of course, so I camped out for 16 hours for tickets.
It's my favorite Stevie song. So reminds me of being a kid.
I’m new to reaction videos. Listened to many people, however yours are the best by far!! We are in our middle 70s and a lot of the songs you do are from our youth. My husband had several bands in the 60s&70s, recorded several records. You are the one we choose to follow! Thank you so much!!
C'mon! Band names a songs, please!
This is Stevie Wonder’s signature album
With good reason. ❤❤

I Love this song!! ❤Sir Duke and I just called to say I love you are a few of my favorites from the Amazing Mr. Stevie Wonder!!! Please do more of his songs soon!!
They danced on the Soul Train line to this song and showed out! Now please do Do I Do and That Girl! Also check out They Won't Go When I Go by Stevie. It's a very deep and beautiful song that I know you will love!
Stevie won best album 1972 to 1974. He did not release an album in 1975 because he was still working on Songs in the Key of Life. That year Paul Simon won best album for Still Crazy After All these Years. It's a great album! Paul's acceptance speech was: "I'd like to thank Stevie Wonder for not coming out with an album this year." Need I say more?!
One of the greatest songs. Check out "Higher Ground" and "Living for the City"
Living For The City must be the album cut, never a live version. Live they cut out the arrest scene and aftermath.
"Get in the car n";_$$_" cuts deep everytime I hear that line
Please react to Stevie and Sting perform "Fragile"!! It's one of my favorite Sting songs but Stevie saaang the heck out it!!! I think you guys will really enjoy it.
You guys are going to have to check out "You Are the Sunshine of My Life", and "Ebony and Ivory"
When we listen to Stevie...It`s always pure magic.
That whole album is 🔥🔥🔥

One of my fave Stevie wonder songs.. The bass line always gets me. He started performing so very young and his catalog is so so deep. I was made to love her is one of my other faves.
Awesome, one of his best! You should react to My Cherie Amour.
