It's funny how the switch has Nintendo's worst controllers, and their best controllers too.

Nah, its just that the idea of the joy cons are great, but the execution wasnt. Still better than the N64 controller.
I clicked on this video thinking that the shell in the thumbnail was stolen from Pufuu’s fake designs, surprised to see that:
1. The shell in the thumbnail is real
2. The shell purely looks similar to Pufuu’s design

I barely ever use the Switch these days, but I make heavy use of the Pro Controller on PC. Native Linux support, Steam automatically detects it (unlike the Wii U Pro Controller via XWiimote, which required manual setup), gyroscope, comfortable weight, and of course the Nintendo layout since the Xbox layout confuses me after how long I've been using a DS for.

I attempted to do this in order to change the shell…
It didn’t work for me. The screws ended up being too shaved to be removed through the normal method. I’m going to need a whole new controller after that.
Edit: First part was a mess. The rest went swimmingly.
How did you manage to remove those tiny screws after they had been stripped ? Tia :D
@@GabrielBillett-ej5en I basically shaved the area around the screw until I could fit some pliers around it, and then just twisted until it came out.
I had to replace the screws with new ones afterwards.
My A button is not so responsive (new controller) Any idea why? Or what I can do with it?
i need a pro controller so bad lol, as a smash ultimate player i need it because joycons drift and make me do mistakes, and i can't play with a gamecube controller because im not used to it at all and it screws me over hard. Also sorry for being a bit blunt but that splatoon shell you added there is kinda hard on my eyes with the color contrast so I'm not fond of it but it's your controller so do what makes you happy man
Well is always happy to see colors in controllers, something I barely see with daul shocks I dunno aside from black, in PS2-4 I only see red and blue,with PS5 just black and whiten I just love colors even I love the black one since black is my second favorite color only behind yellow
I wish the plastic where the charge port is was not black
I want to shell swap, mainly bc I don’t like the round gate around the joysticks but I also don’t like the gamecube controllers buttons so I figured if I shell swap with a shell that has the GameCube joystick gates then I would play better but the process seems too expert for me and I feel like im going to break my controller and idk what to do (help)
If I can request pro controller designs I like to see if it exist is one of forgotten land with turquoise and pink to reference kirby and elfilin or a spark of hope one with combination of purple, green and black to reference edge
Question... There are "pro" controllers on amazon that look identical to the real pro controllers. They even have the special editions.... My question is this, do you think the shell swap would work on that controller?? Id REALLY like to know. Gonna be over $120CAD to get a real pro controller (knock off on sale for $17) and the extreme rate shells are about $15.... And I want the EXACT one in your video SOOOOO bad. But I cant pay $120CAD
