Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day & night.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind blows away.

I am not confused or amazed. Those who do not walk or have a relationship with the Lord. Will not gravitate towards this message or God's word. The Bible talks about Satan going to and from upon the earth. To devour God's children. Therefore you also have people who come to this site. Just to show their anger and disbelief in the Lord's word. It makes them feel better among those who are non-believers. 😉

The eastern meditation emptying the mind is only the first step sir, the next step is to fill it with the words of the divine, God.
The idea is our mind is filled with those selfish wills in the begining, therefore we need to make room for God's ideas.
So clearing the mind and then filling it, day and night, why day and night because that is how long it takes, all day long, all week long, all month long, all year long, all life long to fill oneself to be one with Him.
Like a bucket on the surface of the sea, wiggling itself day and night, to fill itself with seawater, so it can be drowned to be one with the sea.
The sea is God, and the seawater is His word, wiggling is meditation and practice, and drowned is baptized.
Again I am very much obliged to you sir for the enduring word, it helps me a lot with my day and night wiggling.
    Gin,

For the part where the Psalm speaks of the tree being planted by a stream of water and the chaff in the wind, I saw this under a different yet similar light:
    1. Trees need water to survive, but a tree must plant its roots within the ground in order to not be taken by the stream of water or wind. God is telling us to remain firm in our faith similar to the tree being firm in the ground. The world may be full of sin, but God will still bless you and help your flourish in this world by providing you with what you need to fulfill His purpose for you and bear fruit. The current may not be an easy current to be in, but the more you plant yourself and remain firm, the easier you’ll be able to withstand that current.
    2. The chaff however, cannot plant themselves. This is why they get taken away by the wind. They’re so light [chaff is basically the skin of a grain that gets thrown away and has no purpose other than containing the grain]. Similarly, chaff is the flesh. The flesh serves no purpose other than containing the soul and spirit. This is why the Spirit is connected to the Lord while the flesh is connected to the world, and why they’re in constant battle.
    3. Serving Jesus means to humble yourself before others: servitude to everyone and creating a foundation in Christ. A tree with firm foundation can grow abundantly and remain where it is for generations. Wherever the world takes the chaff that’s where it goes, because of the lack of foundation. This is why the righteous man delights in the law of the Lord, because the law sets a foundation that strengthens our faith and makes us firm. The wind can’t move the tree if the tree has strong roots. The wind typically moves the leaves and the branches, and hey sometimes the wind takes some leaves and branches too, but that’s why Jesus says in Matthew 5: 27-30 that it’s better to chop off one member of the body than to have the whole body thrown in hell. It’s better to lose a branch than to lose the whole tree. [I just made that correlation now and wow mind blown].
I love Jesus. I can talk about him all day lol.

David - in verse 3 I interpret that “Rivers of waters” is the same as the water coming out of the rock in exodus and when the spear pierced Jesus on the cross. Thus the tree is like a man panted firmly in the faith and living on the “living water” that Jesus spoke of when he was with the woman at the well
