When my son suddenly sat up after being in a semi coma in the hospital declaring with joyful expectations "It's Jesus! It's Jesus! I made it! I made it" and he was gone in the safety of his Good Shepherd!
Pastor Guzik may the Lord Jesus Christ bless this Spirit filled and anointed teaching. This is very helpful. I pray others are helped by this message I certainly have. Praise the Lord!

Oh so good David, And Psalm 23 amazingly follows up and swallows up Psalm 22, blessing us in the midst of every trial that sets out to replace His sacred care, from every shadow of death that comes upon us that tries to rise above the knowledge of God, all the way through to the divine suffering of our Savior King . He cannot deny His HESED. Our God is indeed an awesome God.

Thank you Enduring Word! I can’t express enough how Pastor David’s Bible commentary has become a light in my life! I just finished listening to the wonderful audio commentary of Psalm 23 and following the script. It’s the scripture I was most acquainted with as a child, and the words David wrote are very beautiful and comforting. ❤

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
"The table in the presence of enemies" is a logistic supply. To win a battle, a war, logistic supply is essential. The key to Alexander the great successful campaign was his logistic supply system. God provides all that we need to defeat our enemies, more importantly, our spiritual enemies. Thank you for the enduring words.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (April 25, Easter 4), this was our Psalm of the Day. We read this psalm on this Sunday every year on the 4th Sunday of Easter, which is also known as Shepherd Sunday. Our three year lectionary also includes different excerpts from John 10 on this Sunday. On February 20, 2017, my mother entered the Church Triumphant. At the burial portion of her funeral on February 23, this was read at the graveside.
Thank you for bringing me God’s message this day. I needed it badly for a friend and for a remembrance to me that I have a shepherd that loves me and that’s all I really need!!!!!!

Congratulations dear pastor !!!!! I like the Last verse: God has 2 DOGs: mercy and Goodness. They Will follow you if you got lost ! Some pastors uses dog to help the to take care of the sheeps
Mr. Guzik I am grateful for your commentary, and I appreciate the time and commitment you have put into this work. I would like to ask if you would please share with us the titles of the books that are behind you in your videos, and or any other book titles you would like to share. Thanks again!
Bless you for not accepting to be Titled Pastor but a shepherd and most preferably to be called a servant of God because you bring His message to us the sheep.
I think you were dancing around a simpler explanation for "Walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death", and I've heard plenty of pastors/commentators give similar extensive interpretations. From the moment we are born we can die at any time. Everyone person ever born has a fear of dying. As believers we don't, or shouldn't have that fear. We walk through life knowing that we can die in the blink of an eye, and we know we will be in paradise. I enjoy your commentaries immensely. I refer to them often when I'm teaching adult Sunday School.
Thank You Sir, I believe that this psalm about the table.... is Speaking of Persecution; that the Lord will anoint us so that we do not feel pain or anything except for Joy & Peace when we are persecuted by our enemies. Thoughts?
Very finnicky sheep huh? As a bus driver, I am memorizing some prayers because I need Jesus. I can't wait for his return. I just need a cup of coffee or tea by those still waters. Maybe a fishing pole too.
Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd. John 10:11-16 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a [b]hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. Hopefully those verses can bring some additional understanding. Blessings!

See jesus
But its not according to the bible. The explanation never mentioned once Jesus.
The Bible is about jesus
The Old Testament shows us the spirit of Jesus. When you read the psalms see Jesus in them. We were not the ones in the bible or our sufferings or a prophets sufferings that are declared in the bible. Its all Jesus. But dint believe my words believe Jesus's own words.

46 ¶ And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day
Acts 2:
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 ¶ Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29 ¶ Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 ¶ For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36 ¶ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 28:23 (KJV)
And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into [his] lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and [out of] the prophets, from morning till evening.

I will pray, fight the demons. Ephesians 6 10-18!! Please read so you understand what is happening!!
God Bless!!

"The table in the presence of enemies" is a logistic supply.
To win a battle, a war, logistic supply is essential.
The key to Alexander the great successful campaign was his logistic supply system.
God provides all that we need to defeat our enemies, more importantly, our spiritual enemies.

Thanks so much for the great teaching anointed Pastor.
Thank you Pastor for your dedication to the Lord. This message has been of comfort to me.

GREAT SERMON.
The most famous Psalm. I like verse 4 and 5. "My cup runs over." 😊
I used to have that Phillip Keller book!!! I wonder what happened to it! I just reordered it.
Great and worth Listening. It's only sad that you are getting older.
Mr. Guzik I am grateful for your commentary, and I appreciate the time and commitment you have put into this work. I would like to ask if you would please share with us the titles of the books that are behind you in your videos, and or any other book titles you would like to share. Thanks again!
What a great suggestion! We will forward this to Pastor Guzik, he may be interested doing something like this!

Thanks for your videos on the Psalms. They've helped me a lot. Wondering if you've looked into the Haile Selassie Lion of Judah connection
Bless you for not accepting to be Titled Pastor but a shepherd and most preferably to be called a servant of God because you bring His message to us the sheep.
Praise the lord
Amen 🙏
14:00 Woah, what a deep read. 👏👏
Please back to class, pls, NCSOM, in Africa we miss you
Good message any Telugu translation
We are sorry, but no, there is not.

Thank You Sir, I believe that this psalm about the table.... is Speaking of
Persecution; that the Lord will anoint us so that we do not feel pain or anything except for Joy & Peace when we are persecuted by our enemies. Thoughts?
Very finnicky sheep huh? As a bus driver, I am memorizing some prayers because I need Jesus. I can't wait for his return. I just need a cup of coffee or tea by those still waters. Maybe a fishing pole too.
Good
Why you spoiled your nice explanation by saying jesus is a great Sheppard while psalms talk not about jesus but about God
Blessings!
