Thats not a great idea as it would then be too great a risk for legitimate protest and companies would meet no resistance whatsoever.
There is absolutely a place for environmental protection and protests have been the last line of defence in the past, however this should be defensible by actual evidence of environmental or historical significance.
I often work on projects which have to be designed around environmental or historical sites which are identified by sending surveyors and experts into the field to identify.
This nonsense about mythical creatures is not ok.

Well, I think a person should have between 25% to 50% DNA to even be considered to be Aboriginal. I have some Irish ancestors, but that doesn't make me Irish. Well I did not have time to give a lengthy explanation so I quickly said, "Granddad killed the last of them". A while later when we visited my parents my son went up to his grandfather and asked, "Why did you kill all the Dinosaurs???". I get reminded of that almost yearly now and we laugh BUT just because I said it does it make it cultural and true in my family??????? Written language was developed to avoid misunderstandings of messages and instructions. Word of mouth relaying has been demonstrated often to introduce errors in the messages over successive generations but then I am not WOKE!

Whilst I dont mind pointing out that Aboriginal spiritual beliefs are bizarre. They are no more bizarre than Christianity and all the other bizarre religious beliefs. As a youngster I was told that wine was being transformed into blood before my very eyes. So, yes dont hold back Mr Bolt, give them all a serve.

Australia has to stop pandering to these people!! It's ridiculous that projects vital to Australia can be held up for years by these activists. 🤮 It's about time for a change !! When they lose their next case ! They should have to pay all the court cost's ! Plus compensation to the public for the lost jobs & incomes. 🤑🤑🤑Then they'll stop !! 😭😭

If us colonisers are paying for the Aboriginal beliefs to be upheld then just tax the Aborigines because it’s against my belief that I shouldn’t be allowed to have my fundamental rights to have gas, and everything else that’s being forced on us so if they want everything their way then use their money. I see the huge division on the horizon .

Its quite probable whoever is buried under the waves off the northern Australian coast wasn't an ancestor of the claimant but a tribal "enemy". At the end of the last Ice Age, as archaeologist Josephine Flood says in: Archaeology of the Dreamtime, at times the water would have risen so rapidly that up to 100 km of land may have been inundated in a single generation. Rising sea levels would very probably have placed significant stress on resource availability and contributed to conflict. Anyone looking at a map showing the distribution of Australian Aboriginal tribes will probably notice tribal areas are usually much smaller and crowded together on the coast than further inland.
Many people seem to have what Bess Price calls a "Disneyland" notion of tribal life and culture. They seem to think the various tribes all arrived on one day, went peacefully to their designated tribal lands and remained there, and ONLY there, for the next 40, 50 or 6o thousand years.
We know tribes were often in conflict and that some Aboriginal tribes were virtually exterminated by other tribes.. for example in central Australia in the Running Waters massacre and as described by former Deakin University history lecturer William D Rubinstein in: Aborigines and the Question of Genocide.
