I actually don’t much mind wearing outdated things, but I do enjoy some new trends. The trends I love most are classic-style revivals using high-quality, natural-fiber fabrics/materials that make us women both look and feel good. The ones I hate are those designed by brands to try to make cheap plastic materials seem new and desirable, like these recent ones: sheer/mesh/lace fabrics, cheap embellishments like sequins, the “no pants” look, with or without sheer skirts over them. These all use dirt-cheap polyester fabrics, the only reason for which is to increase the brands’, already astronomical, profits. The best trend of all is that of buying better, but fewer, items and wearing them longer. And, of course, wearing what is already in our closets. There were many great trends this year, 2024, truly wearable and timeless. Thanks for the video❤
You’ve nailed it! Investing in high-quality, natural fabrics and timeless designs is the way to go. And I totally agree-elegant chic really comes down to simplicity, cut, and fit. Thank you for sharing such valuable thoughts! 🤗🥰❤️❤️❤️
Wow, yeeee…. Thank you, thank you ☺️ I’m so happy you like my videos!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ yes, suede is a great fabric and it has that special luxe touch that can be used in casual or formal outfits 💖 thank you once again for your support and warm comment 🥰🤗❤️
Thank you for your support and I will certainly make a video on microtrends, but today I will post a video on Christmas and New Year outfit ideas, then will be a video on knitwear, boots and the fourth one will be on microtrends 🤩🤗❤️
Leopard and gold are perfect for making bold luxury statements! Burgundy is always such an elegant choice too. I am amazed to see that you are interested in micro-trends!!! I will make that video for sure, but first I promised to share video on Christmas and New Year outfit ideas, I publish it today… but I promise to make microtrends!!! 💕
Loving your videos! A bit amused that the oversized blazer look is here to stay for another year. It does nothing whatsoever for the female body with it's ill-fitting look and proportions and whilst I see some influencers promoting the look, I don't think it's hit the streets, thankfully!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Oversized blazers are definitely polarizing. I agree-finding the right fit and proportions can be tricky. It’s always fascinating to see how trends adapt (or don’t!) in real life. 👀🫣🤗❤️❤️❤️
Love soft power. Polos, yes please. I’m staying in the minimalism camp. Also, I’ll take anything in suede or burgundy Loud anything no thanks and nothing free spirit.
Soft power is such a timeless vibe, and yee, I was totally amazed my Saint Laurent ss25 collection, I highly recommend watching it 👌❤️ almost every single look is amazing and ready to wear! Polos and minimalism are always chic choices. Burgundy and suede? Absolute perfection for adding elegance. Loud trends aren’t for everyone, I am struggling with it, as I can easily go overboard, so I stick with only one loud accent like a leo bag or heels
Great!!!!👍🏻 I will certainly make that video!!! It is in my content plan, first one will be about Christmas and New Year’s looks, second about knitwear, third about boots for frosty weather and fourth will be about microtrends 🎄🥰❤️ but I might make microtrends as a second one 👌🤗🥰
Haha, I totally get that! Some trends really have us wishing for their early retirement. Fingers crossed for 2025 keeping things a bit more refined! 🤞🥳
Trends I wish would go away: puffed sleeves and ruffles (most, anyway). These are too girlish, and not sophisticated enough for adult women. Worst of all, they’re fussy. The essence of elegant chic is simplicity, cut and fit.
Kimberly, long time no see! It’s so great to hear from you again. Your perspective is always so thoughtful, and I’ve missed reading your insights. ☺️🤗🥰❤️
Yes, please delve into micro-trends for 2025.
Wow, that was a fast feedback!!! Ok then, I will make it after the Christmas one! 🥰🎄❤️🥳
