It feels to me that the fashion industry is at a loss. They scramble to come up with something new each year, or even every few months but typically fail. This leads them back to trying to go back to past styles over and over. I’m honestly so bored with “what’s in”. It’s making your everyday woman broke trying to keep up. I think the whole idea of trying to look like you’re from old money is something people need to get over. It’s such a self-defeating way to live, unless they actually do come from old money. I get compliments on my clothing and style everywhere I go so I’m pretty happy just doing me. I actually feel like I set the trends. It’s not easy and it’s taken me a long time but I think rather than trying to be “on trend”, we should work on being our authentic selves and getting to the point where we really feel good about who we are and confident in our own body and with our own individual styles that actually work for us. Now, I don’t live for that but, it’s nice to know that you’re reflecting how you feel about yourself or, how at least you WANT to feel. To be honest, walking around with a beautiful smile does more for a woman than an “on trend” outfit. Seriously. You can literally light up the world with a smile. Thanks so much for your feedback as always, hope you have a restful night! It’s funny you say boho doesn’t work for you because it sounds like you have a model frame 😍 but I can understand that sometimes “things are not for us”. Love red lips, and I do try to take care of my skin🥰 thanks for watching!
@@ZibaLennox Sometimes, I tend to be my own worst critic when it comes to certain fashion trends for myself. Also, your sons are really become fashionable as well. Super job Ziba.😍
@@joerubi6249 haha! the little one loves fashion and the eldest would prefer to wear the same tshirt and shorts everyday of his life! :)
Not sure what the difference is between old money and luxury signaling, they sound like the exact same thing?
They are the same! Was just playing off the words☺️ it seems like this old money is very intentional about signaling
I have been boho chic my entire life was first popular when I was 20s
Love that for you!! What are you favorite boho outfit formulas?
@ZibaLennox midi to maxi skirt with tank and bolero type thin sweater to cover my upper arms concho type belt many have stones with walking sandals panama hat summers. Winter a blazer as short as waist length in style recently with top suited to the temp including sweaters with flat boots or western ones winters in my volcano tropic highlands winter cimate ...shawl or ruana over on cold to 50s Dev/Jan nights.Western hats my rainproof including my favorite rainproof Stetson.
That is way you never follow trends, always dress for yourself save your $$
Some people like to spend money on clothes🤷♀️
I can’t help but wonder how tariffs are going to affect fashion. Probably not the wealthy, but middle class are definitely going to find the higher prices crippling in all areas.
Such a fantastic point that I wish I would have mentioned! I wonder as well!
❤thank goodness to the death of quiet luxury. I'm a romantic edgy girl finding new stuff has been difficult
Long live self expression!! 🥳🥳 do you like love shack and alice & olivia, free people, etc?!
I have not heard of those three. Sorry. I'm not boho either is that what they are?
@@serriak2221 more of feminine romantic!
My take on 2025 fashion, never Give away one’s Clothes! 😊🎉
One thousand percent!!
The masked pictures? Lol gag. Sorry I can't.
Well many of us were required to wear one in public in 2020 -21 if you recall.
@@ZibaLennoxActually, the medical tyranny was unconstitutional and many of us chose to not wear suffocation devices.
@@ZibaLennoxThose mandates were unconstitutional. My previous comment was deleted?
@@liana2136 Hi again :), firstly this topic is beyond scope for my channel. During the pandemic I lived in ILLINOIS, Hawaii and Florida. Illinois and Hawaii didn't let us go anywhere without a mask. Likewise, you couldn't enter an airport without a mask. FL was completely different. I'm not making a statement about whether or not I think masks were right, I'm not a doctor or a politician. I am showing images of my reality during that time period.
I don't know what your comment was, sometimes comments are deleted by YT, some for good reasons and others randomly. I don't delete comments, I either reply as I am now, don't see them, or I block people who I don't want in my virtual home.
One trend that needs to die is pics of people in masks...ugh.
To depict the pandemic? Not sure what you mean?
I agree, despise the mask photos, and sad that some consider them a fashion accessory. 🥴
@@liana2136 some people need them because they have respiratory issues or are fighting cancer and have fragile immune systems.
Leopards are an endangered species yet you would love to wear one ? Is your motto Wanna-be at any and all costs ?
gosh I hope you realize that very few people are walking around with a real leopard on their backs and that most of us are wearing wool or faux fur. also these trends are not about me, I'm simply sharing information. have a great day LD, thanks for your interest☺
It’s fake fur……….
I will stick with Clean Girl Quite luxury.
👍
kate middleton is not known as kate middleton in uk. dropped her maiden name on marriage. calling her middleton is vulgar. catherine or princess of wales is how she is known now.
Sounds like it is going to be a bad year for fashion. Sounds like the theme is to either flaunt your wealth or give the illusion you are something you aren't. Don't care if bright colors are in: I will always wear neutrals which I would think would never go out of style. To me, neutrals are timeless and classy. There you have my two cents worth. 😁
It’s also very much about slowing down fashion cycles hopefully and featuring personal style! *if you look on bright side *
There wasn’t anything that stood out for me, so basically anything goes.
I think the rebellious spirit angle seems very present in the fashion landscape!
I'm not into luxury brands.
What do you prefer? 😊
Wear my Barbour maybe 3-4 times a year for years not the most practical jacket
Good to know!! Is there a jacket you do wear often?
@ my pajar mid weight puffer with a hood is my practical ( I teach Pilates ) or my lole quilted longer jacket with a hood .
Barbour are great love them but why wouldn’t they come with hoods ?!
I hope that goes for men's fashion as well. But alas, I don't think the majority of men have the balls to break away from social norms & traditional masculinity.
Men who have balls hold on to traditional masculinity. This what has worked for thousands of years until 5 minutes ago when a three letter agency told women they are oppressed
Oh we never talk about the men do we!!??
Hoping high waters go away!
That microtrend was not addressed directly in my research! :)
😊
Thank you!
