Every proper boy is a pyro at heart....thank goodness most all of us made it safely through that phase... When I was little we'd take skyrockets, cut off the rocket portion, and convert them to a double-stage by taping that onto the stick of another skyrocket below its rocket portion. Problem is that the 2nd stage may not light right away, and the 2nd stage come down pummeling towards earth..

We would fix that by drilling a hole in the side and putting the fuse in so it started before the first one burned out
