Hey Felix I just received and brand new old stock SKX011J1 from creation watches. It came on the rubber strap but I had a new never used jubilee bracelet from my SKX009 and I put it on my new 011 . I’m loving this new Orange 🍊 boy . It’s so awesome to own the SKX009, SKX011J and the new SSK003J GMT.
spot on. The skx is like the sneaky side entrance into the world of high-end watches... all the respect of a sub (from those in the know) and you get to spend the 10 or 15k you saved on something else!
Owning a SKX009 I can relate to what you’re saying Felix. The SKX009, SKX007 are what they are because they’re legendary and one of the most iconic watches in the world 🌎. I will say owning the new GMT Seiko SSK003 blueberry watch , I believe that the new Seiko 5 automatic GMT watches will be just as legendary and iconic as the the SKX line of watches . With that said I’m torn between buying a SKX009J model or another Orange SSK005 GMT. I know it seems silly already owning a version of each meaning I already own a SKX009K and the new SSK003 why would I want either the Orange SSK005 or another SKX009? I’m also thinking about buying the new King Sumo with ceramic bezel, diashield, and ceramic bezel. LOL 😂 like you said would love to buy them all . Decisions, decisions 🤪
That’s some great names and collection you have mate, appreciate you sharing with us all. My next one would be the 011J Orange. And then slowly add a 5Kx GMT again the Orange speaks to me. I guess we have to be more disciplined in collection and add to our collections, Seiko certainty make our job harder than it appears to be. 🙂
Without a doubt, SKX is the GOAT. It worths every penny even with today's inflated prices. For those who don't get it is because they possess thick skulls.
Thanks mate, I certain had very thick skulls in my early days of collection. Also not surprised see young collectors gets brainwashed by some Micro brands and Watch trend that “value” only presents itself when the watches has “Ceramic Bezel” and “Sapphire Crystal”, oh boy, I was like that 12 month ago believe it not.
And for anyone who is looking at this comment , Mr @inspector1973 is a collector who has many premium and luxury high end Seiko in the procession, so his recommendations comes from experience and subtly.
@@NexDim.spot on mate spot on, it’s brainless marketing in my eyes, but I have to admit for a young person entering to the hobby it’s very easy to fall for “spec” and google “ceramic bezel watches under $500”. Watch manufacturers definitely welcome this trend :)❤
@@TheCaonhanche it covers forums as well as eBay. I truely believe it helped me as it helped me landed couple of pieces, and of cause discovered many pieces that I had opportunity to buy / bid.
That's what I'm saying. If you got doh for two skx's just buy the MM300. You want regret it. It's way more than twice the watch. The Marinemaster is a bargain at just over 2k
