As a person who plays on PC, Xbox, and PS5, i can say with confidence. Fun game. If you only have one option to play the game, do it, don't let others shame you because you can't afford a PC that runs it well, use your console. It's still a great game either way!
another thing is you get an insta kill if you do a headshot(this applies on all mobs), so if you ever find yourself in a situation where you are being attacked by a jaguar, back up and throw your spear at its head

The hardest part is the beginning where you have to find a big stone to make the first knife. And than a coconut to boil water. I have like 200 H + on this but sometimes die because I cant find a coconut early :D
Im the kinda player who spends his first two in game days just walking around looking for coconuts or something to make soups and water in, than end up exploring 25% of the map just to find 4. 3 at the top of the camp on the north west isle, and one in the next door cave.

PC offers more building options for the game and gets updates sooner than console. Same game play console offers. I have it on both platforms and I highly recommend the game.

@@nick_coles_art I have completed the story. I highly recommend the story mode first and then Sprits of Amazonia. Survival is a lot of fun but the story and SoA give you a purpose to your survival.
ants are used for healing wounds or is it infection? im new to the game got some good tricks here, tried to learn on my own but this game is unforgiving
Ants are used like like stitches to heal deep cuts. If you’re in a situation where you need ants, you’re gonna need maggots to heal the forthcoming infection. I don’t typically use ants as a bandage will also stop the bleeding. But ants are good in a pinch. Thanks for watching 🍻
Hi Angie! No, this game has online multiplayer. It’s so much fun playing with friends! The jungle is a little more forgiving when you have someone to play with

Just started playing. I got through the tutorial. It gave minimal help. Pretty much everything I have learned and find out for myself. Starting area near a small lake with a water cataract. Unsafe water. Ended up dying multiple times from thirst. The game doesn't say anything about finding or collecting rain water and how. Rocks I had plenty. Made a very helpful trap for lizards. Made a steak spear (don't remember the name) and got some fishes ftom the lake. Had no clue where to sleep. Slept on the ground. Got worms. Ended up getting infections. I looked up for tobacco or the plant to make bandages. FOUND NONE! Ended up dying from infections multiple times. I speed my crafting process on my games and I made a little place to sleep. Still no tobacco, no bandages, no coconuts to be found. That's about day 3-4 in my game....

@@LFWGaming Thanks for the reply. I have made progress after all those multiple deaths, eventually. I found obsidian and made a good spear. I decided to make a run towards a direction North and I ended up finding the empty tribe village. I found a map and some helpful things there. Now this is my "base of operations".... Things seems to go better...

I dont have the pop up when i try to save so it just overwrites the old save... i cant have a backup save and it ruined my old save bc i spawned in somekind of flatland in the corner of the map after it glitched... i could not climb down a rope but my friend could...
But why there aint no pop up for differend save files anymore... It just overwrites the old one... I would like to have backup file and the option load game is grey so i cant click it... Is this how the game is nowdays or wtf
@@TrueTrife pretty sure it can't dude had to have somewhere cut or wound or ran out of nutrients...they literally take cate of themselves overtime lol and w armor on you don't get the rash whatsoever lol dude serverly neglected his guy if he died only by ant bites lol he must got bit and set the controller down fkr a half hour that's the only way lol
Once you open your inspect menu from the radial menu, you can drag and drop your bandages from your backpack to your wound. I hope that helps, stay safe. 🍻
Started a while back, im about 110 days in. Love it. Seems to be things missing on console thou, i havent seen any centipedes for example? Anyone know exactly what we are not getting? Also, the stone thing is probably a glitch it feels like. You can basically wander around not finding any stone for days, and all of a sudden they spawn right in the camp. Very strange. I do think caves have them all the time, not 100% sure Im on Xbox Series S
110 days, nice! You can find centipedes if you leave logs, long sticks, palm fronds, etc on the ground for a bit and then pick ‘em up. Console is missing the build update and all those goodies that come with it. Other than that, I think it has everything else. The stone glitch can be a big pain in the butt. 🍻

At 2:35 that’s where I’m currently set up shop. I use the cave for my fire and forge stuff. Shelter set up by the creek for water. Game is fun

I play on ps4. If your crafting table is open and you want to turn, hold L2 and you can move your camera.

I have died to ant bites alone. Definitely possible if you don't treat rashes.
That’s never been a problem for me. Rashes have always healed on there own.

I am playing on ps5 and can not for the life of me figure out how to apply a bandage or maggots to a wound.
