Ran this car today for the first time, high speed medium traction, outdoor basketball court, no modifications, ran with sway bars installed l, wow 2nd place. Great car highly recommend, just make sure and order extra dog bones for the front!
keep the videos coming for this model, just bought one thanks again for taking the time to reply! Please make a video of putting her together, we'll whats left of it
I wonder if they offer a kit version with a lower price Tag, if this chassis runs well straight out of the box once its equipped with all the electronics it's really mind boggling considering the price Tag. In my View SN-RC is one of the companies that's its saving the hobby, being able to start racing competitively at those prices is huge deal and really helps the hobby to grow in numbers.
It does have a fan mount. It's the bit on the chassis just infront of where the motor would sit. Quick note, that's the Team Powers car and is cheaper if bought through them.
I'm still trying gearing out, I'm running the smaller optional spur at the min and trying different pinions I'll do an update vid when I find the correct gearing :)
Hi friend, nice car! I'm going to buy a kit of this tamiya tt02! Do you think it's interesting for me to consider buying the yeah racing upgrade kit for this car? Yeah Racing Red Aluminum Conversion Kit for Tamiya TT02 #CK-TT02RD, this all aluminum yeah racing kit.
Hey @WTF RC CARS I’ve been looking to get one of these SNRC touring cars but I’m not sure which to get. I see the SNRC R3 Pro for around $225 but the MTS T3-M is around $310. Do you know the differences and what’s so different about the two? They seem like the same thing. Please respond 😅thanks!
You have to look at the whole list on their site but from memory the mts has upgraded shocks and carbon arms also revised sway bar system to work with the carbon arms :)
In general, it looks pretty good...and, for the price, is an outstanding deal. However...and, unfortunately...it looks like they have copied (possibly illegally) aspects, and even parts, from the top chassis from XRAY, Awesomatix, & Mugen. I am seeing parts on that chassis that appear to be identical to parts I've seen from each of those three companies.
Tbh I've got cars from HB, Xray, IRIS and many others and loads of the parts can be swapped between most of them it's just there ain't that many ways to make an RC :)
@@WTFRCCars I wasn't talking about "swapping" parts...that's common, especially among racers. What I was talking about is it looking like they've 'copied' parts. For example, the top deck looks like it could be a direct copy of the X4 (or is it T4) top deck. I'm not saying they "are" copying parts from top manufacturers...only that it "appears" they might have. IF they did, this wouldn't be the first time a 'budget' RC company purposefully copied parts. On one hand, it's great way of saving money (less spent on R&D). On the other hand, doing such could be "illegal" (more saying IS, only COULD BE), especially if the part copied is made by a manufacturer who patented it (such as XRAY has done with the lower suspension arms of the X4).
@@CarlosDelaoGunEngraver Are you 'afraid' of building a kit? Maybe, you're in need of a pair for transplanting, and can't grow your own? 🤣🤙🏼 It's a slider...there's really nothing to "put together" (from your other, edited, comment). Other than a few screws to attach the front bumper, and one screw for each of the two rear body mounts, there shouldn't be anything else to 'build'...it appears to be completely built, 'waiting' for electronics to be installed, wheels/tires to be mounted, and a body to be slapped on. Anyway, best of luck with yours. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

You can buy them in kit form but there's not much difference in the price

I've just checked on team powers site and they only have 2 kits £279 for FF and £375 for the MTSv3
I like it!
Is SNRC parts readily available on-line?
Thanks...
Very easy to get em from AliExpress and don't take long to uk
Thank you very much, your video was great. @@WTFRCCars
good bits of kit.
It's put some good laps in tonight :)
I ordered one and was curious what gearing should I start with? I think it comes 84 spur. I was running a tamiya tt02 and was 68/30 thanks

For racing you don't want too much

@@WTFRCCars that’s good enough info for what I need thanks!
No probs 🙂
whats snrc official website was looking into them, but I just could not find info and how to purchase here in the usa.

I want to buy one but I am worried about spare parts. I struggle to get bits for Kyosho and that’s a long time proven brand.
Tbh it's easier getting parts for this than most of my other rc's and way cheaper, the whole spares list is on AliExpress
@@WTFRCCars thanks for the reply, I may pull the trigger. What combo do you use? Would 3300kv be overkill on a track car?
As it's a race RC 17.5t or 13.5t brushless motor is the way to go :) as these are what's raced
@@WTFRCCars thank you
Too bad this is not available in the US..
I got mine eBay for 190$. But AliExpress 230$. But the newest car was just on sale from 340 for 190 last week with the carbon floating arms
what is the size for the body ? 210 mm ?
Standard sized touring car shells fit fine it's all I run or even the cheap AliExpress shells for 1:10 RC if you just practicing
