I replaced the alternator on my 2006 Escape from the bottom. On my alternator is a shroud as an extra pain. Sometimes i ask my self: Why do they do that? Make all mechanics mad? I know there isn't much space, but this is bad construct. You did well and kept your nerves. Good video. Camera always on the right spot.
when i did mine, started by the top, but didn't feel like taking the intake off, and everything else that i could forget or break, so did it by the bottom by disconnecting the shock strut and taking the cv axel out , it went pretty fast, plus my Alt. had a vent shroud over it, so it was fun to take everything apart first in this little cavity before you could take it out.
Thank you for sharing. It is surprising how little space you are allowed to work in when replacing a lot of these high failure parts. Thanks for watching.
What a pain. All this for an alternator. Even videos that guarantee tutorials on how to go about it from top end up going from bottom. I don't even know if I want to tackle this alone.
First time I’ve seen it go in from the top. Everybody pulls cv and goes in from bottom. Thanks!
Thank you for watching.

Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching.

I would have loved to have seen the German version before ford screwed it up.
Definitely. Thank you for watching.
