There's a video of this on Reddit from nearly 3 months ago with the Fortune Ladies + De-Synchro combo, but this is the first time I've seen an FTK using it.

i agree. fortune ladys arent that good with the new cards ex ritual beasts black wings etc and they should also put the pot of benevolence to 1 bcs there are ppl who will find a way to only have 1 de synchro in the deck and still otk
There has been a lot of variants of this FTK in the ladder... for like a week. De-synchro could be gone soon, since Konami doesn't like FTKs in general. I think this spell will join Lady Lapis Lazuli in the limited list.

First time I played against this deck I just sat there thinking “wtf are they doing?”. Then the burns started rolling in. Was funny the first time but after playing against this absolute cancer the 3rd or 4th time it got annoying. They’ll probably hit gunfire. I see no reason for FL to suffer because of this.
Well the sad thing is that FL kinda does need to get hit. This is coming from a guy that loves the archetype and doesn't want anything happening to them lol There's a really nasty strategy with the FL engine that lets you eventually summon 'Diabolos, King of the Abyss' and 'General Raiho of the Ice Barrier' (the second to your enemy's field) and have 'Ceruli, Guru of Dark World' and 'Neko Mane King' in your hand - all in the same turn. The combo they go through effectively skips your opponent's turn before they can even draw. The real problem is both Fortune Lady Past and Fortune Lady Calling. If they banned the first and limited the second to 1, FL won't be able to easily make FTKs or Controlled Loops any more. Fortune Lady Water and Fortune's Future don't need to get hit at all.
Went up against this earlier today and was so confused as to what was going on. Thought since we were both in kog, that he was just decking himself out but i end up losing to this cancer

But if you're mostly facing decks like the one in the video, then the LP boost may help you win the duel But just like I said earlier, this argument is no longer valid
I'M not sure if you guys realized but even if a fortune lady got put on the semi limited list, it would not change this deck as it does not use any other semi limited cards

Into The Void and Dragon's Gunfire will be limited to 2, so the combo will not work with this damage effect or the draw power. De-Syncro may not be limited as many people think, but Konami will decide.

They ban super slash silent swordsman man which was a 1 turn kill in the second or third turn depending on who starts first. This well be ban faster then silent swordsman if it's a first turn
Tbh this deck can be countered but its based on if u go turn 1 and the skill ur opponent-is running and there are a lot of cards that negate eff damage

@@paulkrex8129 elephant if its discarded to the grave deals 2000 effect damage. Even with 1 copy can deal 4k damage if played on a correct deck(that can add it back to hand). Just limit all drawing cards to 2( except water. Not a fl player but its a key card for the deck so it would suck). That way you can only have 2 copies of each and if you do,you can't play cancer cards. Same for floadgate and Canadian. Limit both to 2 so that cancer playstyle that doesn't let your opponent play at all is becoming way less consistent
I remember playing against a synchro deck that summoned 5 trishula and 2 quasars in his first turn his turn took forever and my entire hand sent to the shadow realm then he sent me a message asking me how I feel Lmao
Honestly the problem here is just the constant desyncro. Limit de syncro and gunfire as that the only way to make this type of deck work. Literally the fortune lady cards are just there for the syncro but desyncro and gunfire are the main way this deck does any damage
The fortune ladies are to setup the combo, but their biggest part is water's draw engine. There are a few archetypes that could set up Samsara, but only fortune ladies have a consistent, not-once-per-turn Pot of Greed effect (as soon as someone finds out what it does)

You're stupid. Gunfire just does 800 damage it's only there to deal the last little bit of damage and could easily be replaced. The problem card is de-synchro.

No. I don't like FTK decks, ok? But I'm not worried about this one, it doesn't even have 70-80% of chances to succeed. It's only partially effective. But if they touch it, I won't care anyway... it's just a R card.
this deck is still not addressed yet. The deck hinges on desyncro to special summon water. If the syncros get floodgated or the syncro material gets destroyed thats almost an automatic scoop. With floodgate and treach being popular now this deck really struggles to get the combo off. But if konami really wants to address this deck than limiting desynchro to 1 should make the deck less consistent to a point where it is almost unplayable.
But the odds of not drawing Fortune lady Light or Past is not that high. Imagine starting with your fortune lady calling or any of your other spells and you didn't get lucky with drawing a fortune lady light or past. Though it's pretty much Awesome 🔥
So when jar of avarice is in my deck, I need at least 1 card, but adding 2 cards from the grave back to a non-existent deck, by all means. This games broken.

There's also a exodia and light ruler version aswell all are ftk and not cheap to build neither but all use the same FL draw engine

You're stupid. Gunfire just does 800 damage it's only there to deal the last little bit of damage and could easily be replaced. The problem card is de-synchro.

@@MrSharp14 you could easily replace dragons gunfire with another burn card. Dragons gunfire literally just does 800 damage in this deck and that's it. It is super easy to replace. You're a whole dumbass if you think dragons gunfire is OP.

I don't like FTK decks, ok? But I'm not worried about this one, it doesn't even have 70-80% of chances to succeed. It's only partially effective. But if they touch it, I won't care anyway... it's just a R card.

tcg have ftks but they arent making to the meta of the game rn. Decks like salamangreats, orcrust, sky strikers are still the top decks.
in tcg you have Crow, Ash, Veiler, Droll, Ogre, and others hand trap

I just got hit with a fortune lady desynchro Exodia FTK deck in casuals. What even is life rn
this deck is still not addressed yet. The deck hinges on desyncro to special summon water. If the syncros get floodgated or the syncro material gets destroyed thats almost an automatic scoop. With floodgate and treach being popular now this deck really struggles to get the combo off. But if konami really wants to address this deck than limiting desynchro to 1 should make the deck less consistent to a point where it is almost unplayable.
There’s so many other decks that need a nerf/ban and not many people at all play this deck.
But the odds of not drawing Fortune lady Light or Past is not that high.
Imagine starting with your fortune lady calling or any of your other spells and you didn't get lucky with drawing a fortune lady light or past.

So when jar of avarice is in my deck, I need at least 1 card, but adding 2 cards from the grave back to a non-existent deck, by all means. This games broken.
