    In this episode we added even more HP to the 1299 which I think officially makes it one of the lightest and fastest street legal 1299 Panigales in the world! Also, episode one of our next project will be going live this FRIDAY. If you'd like to support and be entered to win check out the patreon page. www.patreon.com/campisicustoms

    Hey man! I know you're online presence and focus has moved to these beautiful bikes, but we wanted to reach out to you. Starting about three or four years ago we ran into your track videos and my daughter Jade took everything you said to heart and really considers you one of her early coaches. That was back in 7th grade. Jade just finished her sophomore year and just won the Utah 2a State title in the 400m dash. As we were sending out thank-yous, we thought of you and didn't want to pass up an opportunity to tell you thanks for what you have done in the past, it had a big influence.

    Jaret, you come across as a guy who seems to always speak the truth as he knows it, and that is part of the reason that I am still watching your TH-cam content versus the other folks out there who have fallen by the wayside as I have started to learn my way around "biker internet world."
    When the Carbon Panigale made disappointing dyno numbers, you didn't try to cover for it. You were clearly disappointed that the dyno numbers weren't what you expected, but you stayed real about it, and that takes guts in a world that's as image-driven as the TH-cam video world is.
    The only folks whose videos I truly seek out for motorcycle content anymore are you, Doodle on a Motorcycle, Dodge Rider, and Chase on Two Wheels. I hope you find those comparisons favorable - or at least useful, LOL.
    BTW, if you find yourself looking around for ideas for material, have you considered doing motorcycle travelogue videos at all? I'd love to see a series of videos with you, Christina, your dad, Dado, and Nia all riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Continental Divide, a tour in the European Alps or a tour in New Zealand together.
    I know, "it just takes money and sponsorship," right?
    Keep it real and keeping speaking truth dude. I sure hope I win the Carbon Panigale!

    Wow, that's interesting about the Rapid Bike controller, I never even though about it but that makes a lot of sense that you would need to go through all of the revs for the best results. From what I hear Rapid bike does make some of the best fuel controllers out there so I'd assume it would be just as good on the Panigale :) Glad to hear everything worked out in the end

    • @JaretCampisi
      @JaretCampisi  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Jaret, just wondered if you have been adding the auto correct maps to the main maps, so the rapid bike can carry on adjusting. Some of mine are at over 20% which wouldn't of happened if I hadn't reset the auto correct.

  • @cryptoczar4589
    @cryptoczar4589 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Jaret - would you suggest the rapid bike over the power commander? Sounds like the rapid bike is a better choice?? I have a couple friends that have been having problems with running too rich or too lean with the power commander. I'm losing sleep until the giveaway lol -

  • @Fergesslich
    @Fergesslich 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Is there a reason why you can not do a couple of dyno runs to tune the fuel controller? Does it need real world scenarios on the street or track and if so what is the technical reason for that? Did you check the new tuning/mapping with the owner again to see if the zeros got away this time? I mean he said every single other bike in this configuration made at least 190 at any given time and climate and your bike is still short of that even when factoring the different dyno deviations in.

    • @JaretCampisi
      @JaretCampisi  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can't do dyno pulls in order to tune the bike because the ram air affect of actually moving on the street will not be in affect so it can't properly tune the motorcycle.

    WOW...guess "someone" is a little touchy about what you guys say on the channel, eh?? Ridiculous. Proud of you for doing what you evidently had to do to make an obviously insecure company sleep better at night. All that ridiculous dog and pony show for a couple more horsepower. I hope they're happy. On the bright side, it must feel pretty good to know that you and your channel have gotten powerful enough in this community that companies will sick their dogs on every syllable coming out of your mouth. Keep up the great work and doing what you do - I've always loved you, 'Teens, Dado and the crew, the bikes you build and content you bring us! Can't wait to see who wins, and onto the next Campisi Customs Creation!

    • @JaretCampisi
      @JaretCampisi  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      haha thank you so much man we really appreciate that. And it actually wasn't like that at all. Rapid bike just wanted to make sure I understood their product and since I had displayed some misinformation I was the one who wanted to make a video to clear that up. I really love new technology and companies who are trying to move things forward and I feel that Rapid Bike is one of those companies so I wanted to make sure they were represented correctly that is all :)

    • @go.for.m.o.
      @go.for.m.o. 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Understood. You are a consummate gentleman and professional for saying that. However, the move by them is still heavy-handed, and if their technology is so complicated and predicated on so many conditions to operate/tune optimally, I sense a lot of customers will have the same initial reaction that you did in your original video. And, I doubt they will be reaching out to every single one of us everyday Joes that are dissatisfied with the product out of the box. Say what you will, but for those of us intelligent enough to read between the lines, they've done more damage than good with the way they evidently handled things.

    Can you just do the drawing June 16th at the Event LIVE with fans and such. Wouldn't that be awesome?? Its the perfect platform. People can wait 7 days extra, no one will be hurt

    • @JaretCampisi
      @JaretCampisi  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a pretty awesome idea but then we wouldn't be able to film the reaction of the new owner...and we couldn't put up episodes for the next series in case the 1299 supporters didn't want to be a part of the next build so its a bit more complicated then just changing the dates unfortunately...

    • @saleenr6
      @saleenr6 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make it a bonus episode just like this one we are watching so it is separate from the next build. Basically make one for the drawing and another to start off the next build. As for the reaction, you have to understand 99.99% of the people just found out they didn't win, its painful to watch the joy of the guy that did, not to be a sore loser but just bummed is normal. So seeing that guys reaction is very whatever, I'd be more inclined to know that the drawing was done in fairness and LIVE. Rather than closed door. You can also make anyone who doubt your authenticity shut up. Anyways, just a thought, maybe ask the Patrons

    • @saleenr6
      @saleenr6 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hell, make it a LIVE episode drawing. You will get all the patrons and subscribers tuning in for the result. Trust me, people tune in to see if they won, no one cares about the reaction of the person that did. Also with the fanfare and live crowd, it just takes the atmosphere to the next level. vs you three in a room picking a winner. Its a no brainer.

    In watching the actual build episodes, I need to say that for me personally, you guys blew it on the wheels. All the carbon bits you have installed look fantastic, but again the wheels you ended up with look like crap. I should also say that they are better than the red ones you were going to originally install, but they still look bad. Every time I look at them I immediately think "Triumph". You should have saved the money and left on the stock Marchesini's. And do us a favor and number your videos!
