There are several reasons, why this can never work.
1. amd64 images cannot run on arm64
2. USB boot not working yet for Linux on Apple Silicon
amd64 on arm64 (M1/M2)?!
Arm doesnt support boot from usb for now
This does not work. Apple Silicon wont boot from USB like that.
