For me 4:3 is the best overall because i never felt that the visibility was a problem. But if you want to find or improve your sensitivity ,you should try 16:10 because feels far less shaky and fast than anything above.
Its actually wild how much aspect and fov effect this game. I came back after a while of not playing and my aspect reset for some reason. i didnt really notice just because i wasnt thinking about it for months. I was wondering why I was so ass, then i realized and changed back to my normal 5:4 84 fov and now im actually killing people. Like I was legit struggling with bots without it lmao.
low reaction best aspect ratio to me is auto its way easier to position my character i have no problem with reaction time i used to play with 5.4 that was my worst play times
its not "hatingon console" its something thats monitor reliant rather then pc/console reliant and console players use tvs mostly, not monitors, stretched res is weird@@NanashiTTV
If you change the aspect ratio on a monitor, it won't be stretched or anything. Instead you get black bars on the sides or above and below. Example, normal monitor is 16:9, if you set it to 4:3 there will be black bars on both sides.
@esportsmiyagi the main point is that you are not using the full monitor screen then. You can stretch the game's view by selecting a wider aspact ratio. But then you have black bars above and below. Now that i think about it, maybe the console itself has a aspect ratio setting, idk
@mikavdommelen unfortunately no, that's why I asked Is it worth doing it on the monitor apart from the console as you can't stretch it. So all you get from changing it on monitor is black bars and no stretch?
@esportsmiyagi i my experience, yes the black bars appear, as it is the output of the monitor you change not the imput from the game. You can always try ofcourse, maybe there is a separate option to make it fit the screen
The game is projected to be blayed on right aspect ratio of your monitor, most commonly used 16:9 .. so people use this advantages to get more kills easily. Real players like me dont use it and play rightly on 16:9 . If you are good at fps you dont need 4:33:25:4 or 16:10 .
Because on PC when you run the game on Borderless it defaults to 60hz but it's not actually displaying 60hz, if you weren't a console pleb which you obviously are you'd know this.

my fav aspect ratios are 5:3 and 21:9. 21:9 was my moniters default aspect ratio for r6

My aspect ratio got reset in the last update and I don't remember what it used to be so I've been messing with each one to try and remember lol
Same, I finally remembered 5:4 84 fov. Now i can get kills
@@Typzical what rank are you
W vid, 3:2 is the truth
has been using 16:10 since start of playing siege and its feels so good
Thanks for this really helped a lot as I’m pretty new to siege
Love this! Thanks. 🎉
I have a 34” 1440x3440 monitor, it’s native is 21:9. Would you recommend me changing my ratio for siege?
IMO the best ones are 4:3/3:2 and 16:10
I used to play on 4:3 then switched to 3:2 now I wanna go to 16:10. Should I ?
@@evanswrld.999 yes
Been playing 3:2 for a year, best aspect ratio for me O:
I play at 5:3 just cuz all the other aspect ratios either feel too zoomed in or zoomed out.
I play 16:9 right now (ex pro TF2) I'm thinking about trying 5:3. Is it too much different?
Question is there reason you think console doesn't have aspect ratio
idk tbh, seems like a easy thing to add
@@GarfieldisdocR6 just r6 hating on console lol I'm pretty hipleaning happing some time this season unless it delayed

I have a 34 inch curved monitor. Which aspect goes best with curves?
curves are a bit of a no-go for gaming my friend❤ if it wasn't pros would all use a curved monitoe
ty 3.2 goes crazy
I love 4:3 becuase ive been on console for 7 years
Console is not 4 3
@@WoogiStix im saying that as console on 16:9
I cant be the only person who's game isn't letting them change their aspect ratio. just trying to figure out how to fix this.
console doesnt have aspect ratios sadly
5:4 for me. Looks ass but I play so much better on it
why is 1 1 in the thumbnail but not the vid XD
when i change my aspect ratio i get black bars how to fiX?
Can you get 1:1?
thats the opposite of stretched
it's helpful tnx budy
Console players don’t even know y’all use stretched res
Console players use stretched res💀
can someone tell me how to make my reticle smaller like his is on acog A?
Does changing you aspect ratio on your monitor change anything, on console you cant change aspects ratio but can on monitor

@@mikavdommelen but I won't be stretched, so there's no point changing this?

whats the best
for console. i have a monitor
You can’t change it on console
you have to change the monitor settings itself

by this logic, all r6 pros are bad at r6 cuz they use different aspect ratios than the default one lmaoooo
Tried 21:9 for 2 minutes and got an immediate headache😂
If it’s not on console don’t be sad could probably manually change it on your monitor right? Or even the console itself maybe 🤔
16:9 is for console players??? Who tf wrote that rule lol I always do 16:9 or else everything looks weird as hell and I don't even play consoles.
thats not what he means, thats just the default aspect ratio on console.
Recommended aspect ratio for 16” laptop?
why are you using 60hz 1440 p with a 4090
Because on PC when you run the game on Borderless it defaults to 60hz but it's not actually displaying 60hz, if you weren't a console pleb which you obviously are you'd know this.
Idk why but my 1.5 Scope looks fat
4090 gpu but capping fps at 120??
prob doing it to match his monitor hz so it doesnt use so much power when his shit runs 300+ fps when it doesnt need to
bruh remove the fps cap and your monitor maybe only goes to 120hz yk
5:4 frfr
Finally someone else who plays 5:4
Holly 4090!🎉
i like 5:3 bc i like playing my game shertch (dont know how to spell it)
Fov 90 perma ?
how i change aspect ratio i dont seee it in settings
It's in the display area and you need to have your game in full screen
it's only for PC
How to get 1:1
g9 - 21:9
16:10>
The original 4:3
21:9
3:2
Sheesh
on 16:10 and 3:2 i have black bars how do i remove them?
Either your game is not in full screen and in windowed mode or your monitor is huge maybe
