This is a re-creation of a popular After Effects Tutorial inside Fusion. The Captain demonstrates how to use Fusion's 2D work environment to create motion graphics style animations including Particles.
The nodes used in depth are:
Displace, Background, pEmitter
For DavinciResolve user:
This tutorial can be followed in Resolve's Fusion page ( DaFusion). If you stuck somewhere, feel free to contact the Captain or simply join the PoC's Discord channel.

Seems a steep learning curve... compare to AE. Composting in fusion definitely makes a lot of sense to switch but need to see more of mograph done in fusion to make the move

Great tutorial, Fusion made easy by 🏴☠️ Vito. 🙌🖖. I am new to Fusion, one thing I didn’t get at 9:58, did you connect the pEmitter lines somehow to the rotating strings (if so, I didn’t get it), or is this just an optical illusion, that they only are generated the sine wave hits the emitter?

Since two days ago Fusion 9 stopped working even after multiple reinstals. Normaly I wouldn't bother anyone with this in youtube comments but support for Fusion is kind of rare, so thank you and keep up the great work.

I know this is an old video but, I'm having problems with the Duplicate node, the animation disappear from the node the last 3 frames, I'm using Davinci Resolve 17
I found is the time offset that do this, but how to fix the "missing time"

after 10+ years in fusion with settings on the right side this kind of layout just blows my perception of the universe )))))
Mclawest i am south paw, and using Wacom it is way more comfortable for me. Is it that bad?? if so, i will put it back for the tuts
n-ah! this is just my opinion, because I just use to see the default layout day by day for a long time, and looks like I'm the only one who mention it in this session, so you can just smile and ignore me ;) I just wrote what I thought about during the video =)
Fusion does not workon windows 10 it just close after the title do you know why I try to find solution and I can't not find anything.
Alain Abrahan hard to say. Could you provide more informaton about your machine? Did you update windows?
I got windows 10 professional Fall creator updates tut this issue was before the update, I got a Ryzen 1700 8 core 16 thread Radeon rx Vega56, 16GB the RAM at 3466Mhz SSD, the problem is when I open the app its just close when shows the main interface
Alain Abrahan try booting windows in safe mode. checkn then. do you have a different graphics card to test with? An Nvidia? you have a nice setup, similar to mine.
I have a 970 but I got it in a VM server I don't know this is known issue, but there is no real solution to the problem several people has posted in forums but not real answer from black magic design team.
I had a similar problem with installing Davinci Resolve and found I needed to install postgres sql outside of the resolve installer first then install resolve. I then installed fusion once resolve was installed and everything works.
