For me, the desserts would rank: #1 Chestnut and Cream Pancake, #2 Matcha Castella with Sakura Whipped Cream, and #3 Strawberry Agar with Mochi Whipped Cream. I adore chestnuts! My family used to roast them and serve them with a bit of butter and a pinch of salt. Yum! Thank you for a fun video, Shinichi. There's always room for dessert! 😆
i love Sakura trees i have a dwarf Sakura i our front yard by the front door. the white petals are falling and lil cherries and the green leaves are starting to show
Food looks good! 7-11 and other konbinis are really convenient and pracrical for a lot of reasons and both tourists and locals in Japan frequent them for basic needs.
I wish I had a door directly to a Japanese 7-Eleven. I prefer many Japanese treats to the more typical American sweets. (Not always, but often.) Where I live, there is a huge amount of anti-Asian sentiment (which makes me unpopular by association, since I may be white, but there are many Asian things in and around my house, I listen to music from Asia, I watch TV from Asia, and I am studying 1.5 Asian languages... (I'm studying Japanese... but I pick up Korean, Mandarin, and Thai from TV... I figure those three, in that manner, constitute a 0.5) 🤣I got Mitarashi Dango from the Asian grocery store when I was back in a less hateful town a couple of weeks ago. Nearly cried from happiness. I have a couple of Daifuku and Dorayaki in the freezer, but I really just need to leave this town and move somewhere that doesn't think I'm scum because I am interested in places outside of the US.)
Yomogi mochi is my absolute favourite! I used to eat a lot of the other sweets, like mitarashi dango, but now it's mostly yomogi mochi. I can't wait to have it again. Never had yomogi dango with adzuki on to. If I see it I'll try it. Chesnuts is something I more expected in autumn, but still if it's tasty I will eat it anytime :)
There's lots of mochi that doesn't have anko, the daifuku with matcha and cream was a mochi. And the mitarashi dango are mochi as well. All kinds of yummy mochi without bean
YES I like Mugwort
It is a healthy herb and can also promote more vivid dreams.

I love anko, but my favorite out of everything would be the matcha cake with sakura filling. That one looked so good. ❤️😊
I love Japan's Konbini. They have a lot of delicious things.
Where I live in Australia, we grow the canola crops, vans its just fields of gold

3-colour dango~
Only had it once... in January 2019.
Your desserts look so healthy.
They all look so good!!!❤
When you say Mugwort I always think of Harry Potter plant classes. Sorry no disrespect intended.
Yeah I too am thinking...what is this mugwort. We don't have that in our country. Would love to try it though
I love Rapeseed, they blossom here in Germany in May/June.
Please show us the packing also. Japan packaging is so smart and convenient.
kinda surprising they make dango cheap. In CA it'll be like 5-8 bucks for a few bites haha. So I usually rather make it at home :(
😘❤️🥰😍💯🌈🌹🙏
👍👍
👍💙
As someone who dislikes mochi and anko, most of this was a hard pass for me!
Im seriously jealous of what you guys have over our crapping American food, even your vending machine food is better than ours.....first or early
I HATE RED BEAN PASTE!!! I love mochi though so I am sad and conflicted

I want to try all these Japanese sweets! 😭
