Very hard to work with. Tired Attiny85, but got only Tiny10. Unable to change name. I don't want to make PCB, just schematic for connectivity purposes. Unable to make my own library, totally difficult to manage anything. Also, annoying user check and sending text message to my mobile phone every time I am trying to start Eagle.
can someone tell me what's the via for? if i didn't put the via would the schematic work? I watched this video almost every second but still it's too hard to understand. but mostly and definitely helpful
Aifaa Alia sure, the via forms a connection from the top to the bottom layer. It’s basically a very small through plate hole. This transfers the power/signal to the layer below🏴👍

This video inspired me to learn more about Eagle, again. I used it, briefly however and never put it to any real use back then. This was almost 20 years ago! A lot has changed since then. I was really frustrated since I thought I could just start drawing a PCB layout by just placing pads and whatever, and while trying so I almost tossed the monitor to the ground, 'cos it just wasn't happening, nothing worked, so I tried to make a schematic, and I still got nowhere, fast as hell. So, I went here you TH-cam and found this tutorial and watched it and suddenly things started to click just right, and before you knew it, I was making headway! This time I'm really motivated to make a PCB since I learned a great deal from this video and took a few stabs at it and I actually got it working, almost the way I want, and I've just placed an order of a bunch of components (I did actually intend to do this on a vero board at first so I placed another order before this, but the sheer complexity of it made me think of designing my own PCB instead), and for the first time I'm going to make my very own SMD circuit board. I probably won't plate the vias since that mean I have to get some chemicals and make a setup for electroplating as well. My current living conditions prohibit that, as well as my finances. Anyways, I'm building a HDD indicator, for whomever might find this inspiring or whatever. This is an insane project as I intend to at least build a server which would house no less than 320 HDD's (Like if I could ever afford it!) with SATA port multipliers and stuff. These multiplier cards has 10 LED's on them, one for active disk, the other for activity. My problem is that these aren't visible from outside the server and I have no plans to mount them in a way that I can. That'd look awful! So, my original plan was to solder on some connectors to which I'd hook up LED's, but as I like to think and ponder my ideas, I thought it'd be nice to have something more. so I decided that I wanted an optic scale and thought of bargraphs, but after some more thinking (Space wise), I settled on RGB diodes, and to add to the mix, I decided to have an Arduino to read these outputs via opto couplers and keep track on which disk is active and such, but the main function for it would be to transmit this to an external panel, since the whole thing will be housed in a server, which is located in the basement with an KVM-switch. Later on I will probably use some kind of radio module for this transfer. Anywhoo, there'll be a lot of cables and connector, so I needed to do a neat wiring as these experiment boards whould require a crap load of tiny cables, and Eagle CAD seem to have come to the rescue. The number of components are staggering: 320 pcs of LM3914 VU-meters on a board of either 5 or 10 of these (Still undecided and I got two schematics/PCB layouts) 1 or 2 cards with 5 pcs of diffused RGB diodes. 64 cards (One for each SATA multiplier card) with 10 opto couplers and 2 74HC165 8 input (5 on each used) shift registers and a 16 pin header (5 outputs for the above, serial in/out, clock/latch and power/ground) 2 or 1 big nexus if you will, with a total of 64x16-pin headers, 8x40-pin headers to connect these together. The 40-pin headers will be connected to 6-pin headers and will fanout to the VU-cards. A massive project to say the least. Also, I have to make a pile driver for my Dremel-clone, and that will most likely have an servo and an Arduino, and I also ordered an USB microscope camera for those pesky 0,3 mm vias. Not that anyone asked or anything, just thought it might, perhaps, inspire someone else to make something fun/useful

I could not get the rotation of the group to work (30m 10s). I could select the group and drag it, but when I right-clicked I would either get an alert sound, or a popup menu would appear, but the rotate on it wouldn't rotate the group. I eventually created a group, and used rotate group_name in the command field to get it to rotate. Any ideas?
I THINK THIS IS THE STUPID THING EVER CREATED BY AUTODESK BECAUSE IT IS VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY DIFICULT AND COMPLICATED TO UNDERSTAND THE USER INTERFACE EVERYTHING IS GODDAMM COMPLECTED

Es indudable que las versiones posteriores a la versión 8.5.1 trae cualidades muy interesantes .... Pero lo que me parece un "retroceso", es el nuevo diseño del CAM (generar archivos Gerbers) en estas versiones de CAM no se pueden editar los archivos realizar cambios que uno desee y luego transferirlos nuevamente a la carpeta "legacy" y generar los Gerbers ... Espero que en muevas versiones se habilite esta función como lo era hasta Eagle 8.5.1

Hello Nilesh, Please go to one of the editors and in the command line type: USE * and press the enter key. That will enable all of the libraries. For some reason, on some installations the default libraries get unused. Thanks!

Hello Felipe, Thanks for your question. Click the rectangle icon or type Rectangle followed by enter. This will get you a filled rectangle. I am new to Eagle and trying to learn this currently. Around the start of the 36:30-37:00 mark he transitions from the top layer to the bottom layer for his trace so effortlessly. I was just wondering if the is an automatic way to do that by just pressing a button or does he go up to the task menu and click on the layer he wants to use? Also how would I transition back as well?
