If you use ramps that fall into the center you don't have to worry so much about the placement of the Penguins
Nah, I tested that. Unfortunately the eggs can get stuck on the ramp
Very nice video, thanks for sharing! Will de using this whenever it releases on PlayStation!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed!
only in pvp, pve not work sadly
I’m in a singleplayer PvE game and it works perfectly fine
@@FinleyYT however it doesn't work on PvE servers, you must enable PvP to make it work. We have our own server and have tested it ourselves on ASA.
I think what doesn't work on PvE server is killing of hatched penguins. ASE has option for friendly fire in PvE and that has to be enabled so that hatched penguins can be butchered.
@@peeetee6012 video title says "Ark Survival Ascended"
@@FinleyYT y because single player have an option allow it ^^ official pve don't work like this
The number of times that one fence gets in the way, I'd redesign my outside walkway to have both openings together.
Not sure quite what you mean by this
The doorway to your house, a little patio. The patio has a fence. You come out your door turn left and can get off the patio. But everything you own, you turn right. I'd block off the left, open up the right. You keep jumping and missing. You need to use pets to get over it. I'd just open it up on the right.
@bluebehir ah gotcha, I enjoy the way it looks and it’s not that annoying
@@FinleyYT It killed me and I was only watching it! haha! I have a roof with fences to guide enemies into a pitfall. I kept needing to jump over one. It blocks me 50% of the time. I flipped it upside down and now it blocks the middle but I can run through the edge.

Great video, despite your dirty mouth lol
But seriously i enjoyed the build and the explanation etc, the other stuff was just icing on the cake
And before someone tells me to grow up, no need, my grandkids tell me that all the time 👍
Ramps on the side and walk up. Ramps down inside will drop eggs into the center, Bury 4 ac's in the center with a floor over, and eggs drop in and hatch automatically.
Remove Railing on porch or for gods sakes move the bloody bird out of your way.
Could you do it like this.....
In the centre of your pit put a pillar. Raise the pillar to the roof, forming a dot inside your open square in the ceiling. Put a quarter floor on the pillar, dead centre. Put a male on the square. Put females all around, will that work with a single male in the centre of all the females?
I’m not sure, I haven’t tested it, you’d have to make sure there’s ample room for the eggs to fall down and I’d imagine the pillar would get annoying in the middle of the kill chamber
@@FinleyYT I agree. Perhaps then, only working from the ceiling. Place one pillar (sideways, level to the ground) from the ceiling toward the centre. Then you can build your quarter floor in the centre of the ceiling. You would still have three quarter gap all around.
I'm not ready to build a penguin lair yet, or I would try it.
needs somewhat better audio.
If you build ramps on the side, you can walk up with an penguin.
You can also hit them in place.
And like someone said, using ramps also makes it easier for placing the penguins.
U can place an oviraptor with them and speed up the process.
It's a great idea !
Would an oviraptor actually speed it up? I thought they only affected non-fertilized eggs.
@@FinleyYT you might be right there. I assumed they also sped up the mating. Might be wrong. But then again, more eggs...
@ribbitheartist9540 oh yeah, don’t get me wrong, an oviraptor is certainly something I’m keeping an eye out for
@@FinleyYT My oviraptor collects the eggs, which means they don't hatch. You would have to come back, grab the eggs and put them in the killzone, Wait for them to hatch, then kill. Seems painful.
@@bluebehiryou set the ovirsptor on walking and set only non fertilized eggs...
thats alot of pingus
UNLIMITED PENGUINS!!!
Why don't you just move your Pelagornis, instead of running into him every time you need to go back into your base? And why not remove the rail instead of trying to jump over it every time, then deciding you need to go around and get stuck on your pelagornis? Or why not just add another door? Dude, you're killing me. Good farming idea though. Makes taming a penguin worth something.
Because I’m stubborn! ahahaha!
Audio is clipping alot
Could you please elaborate?
@@FinleyYTsounds good to me, thank you for the video
