How do you Increase tame limit I tried to Just up the number on the server settings but it didn't work
Your choice. You can still have landing pad entrances. But detailed penguin or argy base.
Look at it from dif positions off the lake. But I can't stop seeing and argy face n beak for atleast the center building.

How much poly do you really need? If only you'd tweak harvest rates and stacking like you do your breeding rates, you'd be all set.
Syntax you could put turrets upside down on the entrance of your base to keep them out that might look cool
You should get a mochops, maybe even mutate the meele a bit and pump everything into polmer harvesting for the best results use the alt bite attack

Moschops gather more when not being ridden
@@borzoilover4156 I didn't try it yet (plan on doing it on the weekend), so I'm not sure, but I've read somewhere that you could leave a moschops on neutral and on wander, so it will harvest the penguins after they die of hunger.
The TH-camr 'Doth' has a great video about polymer farms, and I believe he found the pelagornis to be the best way to harvest it. I don't think it was by much, but I know for a fact that the moschops wasn't the best
Moschops (and many other creatures) are having issues with harvesting small corpses while ridden. And moschops won’t do it automatically, as someone said earlier. If you’re doing a manual farm, using an oviraptor to collect up eggs and hatching them all at once it might work. But be mindful of that issue.

Well, the single turret has done good work in the past. Definitely poorly defended, but it certainly looks nice. Lol

you can place turrets on walls or hang them down from the ceilings upside down. You can place them at the pointy ends hanging upside, they will be hardly noticeable and will cover everything that could fly into the base.
I love what you did with the railings. It's great what they've allowed some structures to do.
For some reason the baby penguins don't drop as much as their wild counterparts, however if you wait for them to become adolescent then they give a fair amount. This was an issue Raas was having in his playthrough.
But is this really worth it? I mean you have to get them through baby phase...you can use this time to hunt for wild ones
I love that you implement your style of building to EVERY building you create, tying your entire base together to look like some cool medieval dwarven fantasy type area and I just adore it 🤣 it's not my type of style but as you continue on with it and build more and more they start to become legit works of art. I'll never forget how breathtaking the community building you made in Calabasas was.
Syntac you can actually kill and harvest your own creatures in official pve now. Makes it a lot easier for us breeders (:

I just have to say it:

axeman saved your megladon in his last video you might need to go check on and maybe both get together and make it safer to store them.
@31:00 you could use a few railings placed 90ish off the beams up top. Make a 4 or 5 point 'grate' to keep things out but still leave it open.
also the Railings @28:30 look really cool but check and see if you can pass thru them. I made something similar (tho not nearly so artistic) and found i could walk thru the gap in the rails. Im going to make the pattern you are using and test to see because it looks very nice and i like wide open views .. but dont like it when critters can come in uninvited.
@35:30 also remember you can paint the flame on torches with the paintbrush section 4 and 5 to change the color and glow. Mist= a bright electric white, Ice = a touch more blueish electric white. so then you can stuff the torches with sparkpowder and get the same visual effect for a much cheaper cost.

From what I gathered the LvLs gained through taming are distributed randomly so taming all high lvls regardless of wild stats could be profitable

According to the trap master Captain Fatdog, both flyers and underwater creatures actually don't have any pathfinding. He has a whole video on it. Another thing from that vid is that apparently creatures really don't like walking over fence foundations.

Use a high melee moschops and pump its skill into Organic Poly you'll get tons of Poly, Pelagornis is only good for wild penguins

Unlike the wild kariuku (which the babies give the most polyer), tamed kariuku only give max amount of polymer when they are full grown.
Can you paint the flame of all torches like wall torches, standing torches, fire place, and campfire? Cause that could solve the angler gel issue if it works!
do you have the pelagornis on aggressive and it kills the babies by himself? I just made my farm but it only flies around them. or do I have to come once in a while and do the killing myself?

I think the way to do it is to get the penguins on the ceiling and then use dino hitshing for all of them (idk if its in this game it was s+ thing) then you take the ceiling off that way they will float

Wall torches would probably look better with just painted Cyan flames. Or painted white if you wanted a brighter area. Anyway love your buildings. Their always amazing.

You should definitely use all the Dino add on mods. They are all so good
Honestly the only thing (other than greenhouses) that I would change about the building would be the ability to put pillars on a slanted roof/stair/ramp. The railings sometimes just don’t work well enough
adolescent penguins give the most polymer. i personally use the oviraptor to harvest eggs and hatch them all at once and let them grow before harvesting with the pelagornis
true but its not an 'auto' farm then now is it? youre gonna get all you need either way and its not a huge difference in the amount but auto lets you do other things as well while gettin the poly passively in the bg

i was running 46 females (on solo) and getting like 250 OP with auto...on a server i'd imagine that'd be a good amount less with the OP timers...honestly i think 5 mins of work would make a huge difference with the oviraptor/adolescence route...whatever you do, i'll still be watching lol @@Syntac
@@leeChMSI its honestly not as major as youre tryin to make it out to be, unless youre on an official pvp server the difference you get between the two isnt big enough to matter and again i reiterate the idea here in particular is that he wanted an auto farm and as he already told you the auto farm will get him more then enough for whatever he needs it for
btw i found a setting in the UI near the bottom to hide dino names unless i look at them, its useful

Avatar talk: Just so you know, Avatar plays extremely similarly to Primal, but the stealth is kinda broken. Enemies will see you as soon as you're in their line of sight.
Is there a way to raise the opacity level to see what level a dino is? Im on xbox and its hard to see the levels even when standing next to them. Its nearly impossible to see a dinos level without using a spyglass

taming penguins is going to be easier with wild babies now!
Main issue with taming babies is you don't get the extra levels from taming effectiveness

@@tossedk9748 indeed you do my question is what's the point of the baby then? Yeah, it could be opposite gender for breeding, but having the same stats it's kinda not very great. I have high breeding rates so I'd rather find a Better stat opposite gender, the babies are great for early game prime about it imo.
@@tossedk9748 not true, sometimes you get them and sometimes not. a raptor killed my 150 wild pachy and both babys got extra levels and the baby of my 150 tamed trike got no extra levels.

I'd love to see you tame all of the island tameable dinos, personally I'm trying to get that achievement before scorched earth so I don't have the dinos multiplied like last time when they update the maps so my dino tame numbers are lower.
If you get it going with polymer you're probably going to want to have that ceiling closed off. If you're going to have the Pelagornis on aggressive I'd be more worried about it pathfinding out the top to attack something than something getting inside. If the plant species X dont kill stuff fast enough he might try taking a stroll around The Island! The idea to just hop in every once in a while and go on a purge might be the better option if they wind up needing time to grow for more polymer.

From what I’ve seen with my own farming when they are adolescent they give more polymer then when they are babies/juvenile. Hope this helps
Probably should have viewed the baby babies with the magnifying glass before taming, so that you could compare health. They both got bonus levels, which would have included health.
Instead of putting more aircons you can always just tame a Dimetrodon, they have a pretty big insulation radius

What stacking mod do you use nowadays since ultrastacks stopped being updated? I'm looking for a good one and it's unclear if ultrastacks still works with the newer versions of ark

The baby penguins MAY have had the same stats pre-tame with bonus levels distributed randomly.

You can pick an otter up in the beak and bring it fish to tame rather than chasing it about
I don't know if anyone else has said it yet but the hot/cold is a bug. When you move around or drop an egg and it says cold, relogging on SP fixes it. I don't know the work around for a server however.
If you don't like the look of the plants you could make a dimorphturret. A bunch of dimorphodons on attack my target, with a spotter on aggressive.

turn small names on in settings just makes it an icon, then when u highlight over it it gives the name
