The replacement for this aircraft is 3 747-8's. No A380's because the European Aeronautical Association or whatever they're called said they didn't want any airbus aircraft to be the next AF1. This was about 3 years ago.
I went to the airshop in Taipei. They had one of these. On inquiring, they said the wings of die-cast models can be removed just like the hogan plastic snap ons. Is that correct.
+Steve Rogers Yes, I agree with you that the B777-300ER is the best aircraft in the world. However, I love the B777-200LR for the fact that it is the longest range aircraft in the world (not for long sadly), and is it as beautifully made as its bigger brother, the B77W.
The spikes on the wings and horizontal stabilizers are actually HF antennas. The ones on the wings are also on the civi versions. But the ones on the horizontal stabs are unique to AF1. This should be standard on all 1/200 models. If dragon wings can make it standard feature on all their 1/400, i don't see why it can't be standard on all 1/200!
It's far easier in the format I do it in. I used to do it in the way you mentioned however, reading a script while unboxing was difficult and would create awkward pauses. Sometimes I would also miss things I was meant to talk about. It's fine with me if people skip the talking at the start and don't want the info.

I want one which I hope to eventually buy one. I've seen one of a Boeing 707 in 1:200 scale too. This is the oldest Boeing 747 flying to this day.

They are just as detailed as Gemini Jets but only offer features like tilting landing gear only on the 777 models.
