As an autistic person regression has been so healing and soothing. Being able to feel that child like wonder again is so magical

Autistic burnout sucks😭 I use regression as a way to help me calm down when I’m home because it’s so comforting for me and my inner child is so much happier when I regress. Love your videos💜😊✨

I get autistic burnout a lot because I mask so much and it stinks so much because with my burnout I get physically sick I don’t know if that’s a real symptom, but I legitimately get sick where my whole body aches and I get flu like symptoms but on the sever end where I get a fever and can’t move.
So when I came across your channel I learned of a way to soothe myself before I get to that debilitating state. Another thing to note is I also have severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD

I usually struggle to get into a proper age regression state, but I totally agree with you about how it relates to mindfulness. Something about cuddling or playacting with a stuffed bear really gets me out of my spiraling thoughts.
I don't have a chronic illness either, but my mom did due to Type I diabetic complications. Missing her a lot right now. I hope you're having more good days than bad ones!

Great video. Just to add - The child part work (seeking to engage one's relationship with Self, emoting all emotions of the body (stored or in immediacy of the now), completing circuits of grief / loss / injury stored (if not healed in childhood), learning introspection & window of tolerance work for the autonomic nervous system, finding & engaging human rights, flexing the unused skills that ACE scores block, being free in play, fantasy, desire, needs, autonomy Self-governance etc) but! (apart from psychosis reliving childhood trauma) regression of any kind (especially the more difficult opportunities to hold something painful in nurture - maybe for the 1st time) also creates neuroplasticity in the exact region of the brain that was injured. This play, grief, sadness, learning to soothe but also create new memories for a child part in dissociation of the Self & body, which also offers evolution for disenfranchisement of the part of Self that holds the body's immediacy, play, fantasy, sex, soothing, creativity, human rights, ability to recognise the spectrum of Self. This neuroplastic openness to growth stays accessible for a few weeks, if the opportunity to create neuroplasticity is held in witness & empathy.
I have free resources available on trauma & the ANS regulation - if anyone would like to receive these please dm or comment on any of my platforms Fay Brown Projectsnowball. 0rg x

very good and interesting video. I think I always age regressed I just did nor know it had a word. I never grew out of cartoons and some child like shows and I never grew out with playing with toys. I always played with Barbie and My Little pony. great video

Thank you for this! I regress since i was a teenager and now I'm close to adulthood, therapy helped me with lots of bad stuff but what kept me alive in my darkest moment was my regression. When nothing felt important anymore just watchinf Bluey or hugging my stuffies helped me a lot, I'm also autistic so like you said it helped with burnout immensely. I will forever be grateful for age regression because it saved my life and still do ♡

I really love the wave length your on with this video with trying to help those understand mindfulness and the healing aspect of it amongst the other helpful ways of regression. You couldn’t have said it better because a lot of people miss that a lot of mindfulness, soothing/emotional regulation and focus stems from childhood and we loose it for various reasons but to gain it back is almost impossible without regression of some form! So you nailed this video and I love how you found the right words to tell it.

I'm working on self soothing and controlling anxiety currently. I have random depression episodes and regression helps me kinda get out of it. I haven't yet got a therapist, in all fairness I got a bad one when I was younger so I think I need to get over that so I can slowly start asking for help. Asking for help always ended up bad for me so my brain tells me "If you tell them your gonna be in danger" and it's really stessy but I'll work on it. Regression helps somewhat but I just need to be self aware still.

can I age regress for fun or to help with my depression? I also do probably have adhd or autism (rlly don’t know yet) but I’ve always never wanted to really grow up, so I was wondering if it was still valid to do it to help with those things :3 and is age dreaming valid? I’ve seen some say it’s not but I’ve also seen some say it is? I’m js curious ^w^
