Though for me, i can't get over the first person perspective for this kind of game. I've always been a 3rd person kind of guy though i can still enjoy a first person perspective for some shooters. Hope they will finally add a bow crosshair or dot, it was ridiculous it never got add in the first game because it wasn't realistic (as a dev told me), but when pointed out the sword combat having a big ass star i never got a response
I mean the sword thing is different its a question of directing the sword to the general direction of an enemies body not aiming at a precise target. The aspects of their realism are expressed differently.
@ no I understand but archery is pretty awful and difficult because of bad game mechanics, they can add a dot just to make sure you fire in that general direction because now you cannot aim like you should in real life with your head next to the arrow and aim with the point of the arrow
@@kmj4nsenbased on what I've seen in previews there is no cross hair but it seems as though it is very much easier to shoot an arrow. Watch sxybiscuit impression and he goes into bow and arrows.
I think I mentioned it near the end of the video as well, but while you definitely can play KCD2 without playing the first one, you'll miss out on a lot of context, especially when it comes to some of the returning characters. So if you still have time to finish the first one I'd recommend doing that before jumping into the sequel! - Dennis
No third person camera was a big part of why the first game never hooked me. That and the fact its about the jankiest game I've ever played and feels like its constantly on the brink of crashing lol.
I played the first game on xbox one and it was horrible quality, but it turned out to be my favorite game for so long!! I love the alchemy making. im glad they kept that and a lot of the things from the first. I can't wait to loot everythinggg. This game really is not for everyone tho.
There is a lot of racism in the community. I love KCD and Warchorse studios, and I admire their effort to making this amazing game as historically accurate as possible. When this game was announced they were asked if there would be more diversity in the characters since in the first one it's all white, to which the developers answered that all the diversity we will see in the game will be accurate to the time period and setting. Which I respect and agree with. However, all the racist trolls took that to mean that the game is "anti-woke" and really let their racism shine through in all threads and communities surrounding the game. I used to love the KCD community, but I had to take a step back from them with all the toxicity that has come out with the hype for the sequel. However, don't let all that put you off the game or the studio. They are passionate about their craft and proud to represent Bohemia's history.
@@amnerislopezTotally agree they did well with the game, and they deserve their flowers. Its just gonna be annoying with these weird racist that are gonna use this game for their anti woke weirdo agenda.
Oh stop , KCD simply is controversy free there is nothing in the game that is controversial that’s why there are no haters here, for shadows Ubisoft Made em selves easy targets before the controversy that’s why most casuals don’t even defend em despite the fact that racist ultra right wingers constantly hate it
Maybe wait to see low end tests on youtube because maybe you could run it at like 20-30 fps on low graphics but its better to wait and see tests online
Really wanted to enjoy the first game but the hyper realism aspects of the game was a big turn off. Perhaps I didn't have enough patience but it felt like a chore to learn, constantly hungry and tired, etc, always something I had to tend to which distracted me from enjoying the game
It definitely isn't. I thought the first one was just okay. While it had some redeeming qualities, it really felt like so much missed potential. What I've seen of gameplay in the sequal looks much improved, but nothing that has gotten me excited.
The first one isn't either. Treat it as a first-person Piranha Bites game. You're literally no one with absolutely no skill in any fashion. You mold your character in any way that you desire. Pretty neat.
I understand that it may be difficult (at a personal level) - but given that 90+% of people will be playing on base systems, why try out games on the PS5 Pro? It doesn't help us, and also comes with risks associated with common challenges with devs not knowing how to optimise the new platform. Especially given that KCD was notoriously bad performance on the base PS4 - and indeed never received a PS5 patch even.
I just wanna say, If you didn't enjoy Chivalry/Mordhau then this game is not for you but if you enjoyed it. this one is most likely like that but its a roleplaying game with an immersive story
I definitely felt it was easier to get to grips with, because you can only swing your sword from four directions instead of six. So that makes combo's a lot simpler, and it's much easier to counter enemy strikes from a specific direction, as like you, they only have four options now. - Dennis
If its like the first game hes not wrong but its not a bad thing. Its challenging, your choices have consequences and hell in the first game henry starts off not being able to read so if you saw a book it would just look like scribbles until you learn to read through either skill or a quest idk its been years lol
It's a game you kind of need to buy into the concept of playing as a regular joe (sort of) in the middle-ages.. if that is not generally appealing... the rest of the game won't be either.

You can add a dot with the console, wh_pl_showfirecursor 1
It's good that you show content and even spoils in certain missions, but you couldn't also show what Bascinets we have.
You can say this for any game. "is not for everyone". Its only good its not for everyone.. this makes a game great!
A game for everyone is a game no one.
Can I play the second part if I haven’t finished the first one? I’ve made it about halfway through.
I would recommend either finishing it or watching a good summary video, there is a lot of stuff at the end of 1 that will roll over.
@ thx
Watch a story recap and you’ll be good
I think I mentioned it near the end of the video as well, but while you definitely can play KCD2 without playing the first one, you'll miss out on a lot of context, especially when it comes to some of the returning characters. So if you still have time to finish the first one I'd recommend doing that before jumping into the sequel!

Thank you for the review, you saved me $109.00
This game is not for me
For who ever wants to play it, have at it hoss!!!
👍🏼👍🏼
No third person camera was a big part of why the first game never hooked me. That and the fact its about the jankiest game I've ever played and feels like its constantly on the brink of crashing lol.
Game sounds sick, might get this over Shadows
How is the photomode?
Pretty barebones to be honest, but I can easily see them adding more features to that post-launch.

not for everyone is what they said about bg3
I played the first game on xbox one and it was horrible quality, but it turned out to be my favorite game for so long!! I love the alchemy making. im glad they kept that and a lot of the things from the first. I can't wait to loot everythinggg. This game really is not for everyone tho.
starts at 07:25
Apparently all TH-camrs have played KCD2 except regular people
For those that are going to play KCD2 that haven't played the first game good luck trying to get into it 😂
Is 3rd person pov avilable or not?
No this a first person game like kCD 1
@Luci2310 ok.thanks
It looks so beautiful!
oh no! Sequel of the game that isnt for everyone isn't for everyone?! IM SCHOCKED!!!!!
What game is for everyone? Sry, kinda dumb phrase...
Weird how there is no racist jokes or toxicity in the comments section when characters are white in games
@@darkbornelines4587 and no comments saying to disregard preview videos because they’re paid off by devs 💀
Oh stop , KCD simply is controversy free there is nothing in the game that is controversial that’s why there are no haters here, for shadows Ubisoft Made em selves easy targets before the controversy that’s why most casuals don’t even defend em despite the fact that racist ultra right wingers constantly hate it
Yeah, we don't like the WEF s agenda being pushed into games. Gonna be a 10th Crusade if they keep their shit up.
Question:
Is it a good idea to spend 80$ on the game, I have a
i5-240f and gtx 1060 3gb
Maybe wait to see low end tests on youtube because maybe you could run it at like 20-30 fps on low graphics but its better to wait and see tests online
Really wanted to enjoy the first game but the hyper realism aspects of the game was a big turn off. Perhaps I didn't have enough patience but it felt like a chore to learn, constantly hungry and tired, etc, always something I had to tend to which distracted me from enjoying the game
"NOT FOR EVERYONE" - translation - "only for mature audiences"
It definitely isn't. I thought the first one was just okay. While it had some redeeming qualities, it really felt like so much missed potential. What I've seen of gameplay in the sequal looks much improved, but nothing that has gotten me excited.
Is this gameplay on a ps5 pro?
yes
If it was for everyone it wouldn’t be as good as it is. Definitely not a negative.
I’m 100% glad it’s not for everyone. It’s for people like me, and that’s why I love kingdom come!
The first one isn't either. Treat it as a first-person Piranha Bites game. You're literally no one with absolutely no skill in any fashion. You mold your character in any way that you desire. Pretty neat.
I loved the first game and have 3 playthroughs, i think i will enjoy the second
It takes place in 1400's not 1500 so stop misplacing it plz
I understand that it may be difficult (at a personal level) - but given that 90+% of people will be playing on base systems, why try out games on the PS5 Pro? It doesn't help us, and also comes with risks associated with common challenges with devs not knowing how to optimise the new platform. Especially given that KCD was notoriously bad performance on the base PS4 - and indeed never received a PS5 patch even.
I just wanna say, If you didn't enjoy Chivalry/Mordhau then this game is not for you but if you enjoyed it. this one is most likely like that but its a roleplaying game with an immersive story
is Mansa Musa included in this game?
No
What? Is this a bait?
If people don't want to read and learn a game, we will get Ubishit games until the end of times...
Would you say the combat is easier than the first game
I definitely felt it was easier to get to grips with, because you can only swing your sword from four directions instead of six. So that makes combo's a lot simpler, and it's much easier to counter enemy strikes from a specific direction, as like you, they only have four options now.
- Dennis
thank god it’s not for everyone, i hate that so many modern games aim for that
I’m assuming you can still somewhat customize Henry? Hairstyles, facial hair, etc.?
Haven't found any beard- or hair-customisation yet, will update you if I do!
- Dennis
If its like the first game hes not wrong but its not a bad thing. Its challenging, your choices have consequences and hell in the first game henry starts off not being able to read so if you saw a book it would just look like scribbles until you learn to read through either skill or a quest idk its been years lol
Not for everyone, just the people that like decent games.
This game is going to be amazing.
It's a game you kind of need to buy into the concept of playing as a regular joe (sort of) in the middle-ages.. if that is not generally appealing... the rest of the game won't be either.
I'm more curious about what actually is for everyone.
