I have been looking into moving to the DFW area for a few months now, and because I work for one of the big companies headquartered in Plano I would be able to transfer over basically risk free from an income standpoint. I gotta say you guys are really convincing me. I didn't know anything about Dallas or Texas in general a few months ago but just based in the cost to buy a home there I am about %90 certain my first home will be in the DFW.
College student (graduate in December) I was thinking of moving to Dallas to start something new since I live in California. What is the best place to search for job opportunities?
Can you tell me about Dallas' walkability and public transit. I'm also interested in the oak lawn neighborhood. I'd probably go for an apartment or small house (900 sq ft ish) if I choose Dallas. Thanks in advance.
