    We got a new construction house in Frisco February 2020. We are only 9 minutes from the new universal studios. PGA project was announced week after we got the house. I always thought there was some potential for that land as it’s has some elevation changes and looks good from the tollway!

    We are searching in DFW currently. It is a bit of sticker shock in housing. I do think some corrections will come because people are going to be priced out. Looking at $650,000 ( which nauseates me), putting 40% down on a 15 and the payment is way more than I’m comfortable with after property taxes, insurance, hmo, etc. Crazy!

    • @LIVINGINDALLAS
      @LIVINGINDALLAS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sticker shock is going on in all major markets now. People have been talking about a major correction for years now. They only slightly slowed down in how fast they were rising. Like he said, if you want to buy here, DO IT NOW!!

      Housing was affordable prior to 2021, rates dropped, new construction delays due to supply chain issues, FOMO, the market will adjust some since new construction is catching up, supply chains have improved, rates are still high and sellers need to comeback to reality.

    I hope these two happen in Frisco's Universal Studio:
    1.) It should have Nintendo world ( At Lease, kids version ) because Frisco is proud of its only (unique) USA video museum.
    2.) Harry Potter world ( at least kids version )! If you search internet, you can see how much kids like Harry Potter related things.

    i fled commifornia in 2017 to Frisco and love it. This man speaks the truth and is very accurate. was able to roll my equity from CA to buy a primary 650K and rental 500K (circa 2017-2019) in a good area (Starwood) 3 miles from the corporate hub (121 and Headquarter) and The Star. Home prices in premium areas are out of control ($1m for premium SFR), so i'm not sure about buying at the peak, but if you're getting corporate relocation help and plan to stay a while, it's great. I grew up with SoCal "diversity" (in a good way, not the b/s DEI) and concur. i like having variety of eateries and a mix of folks to interact with. the stat on "Asian" includes Indians, Pakistani, etc so if you like that type of food/culture (as i do), then you'll fit right in. "Southern Hospitality" is real and i appreciate it. I'm teaching my girls to say "Miss" or "Mister" when addressing adults.

    Frisco includes 2 cities - original Frisco and Fields ( a city inside a city ). Frisco is crowded, but people from Bay area and New York city( Manhatan/Brooklyn/Queens) like the crowded Frisco. If you like less traffic Frisco, you should move to Fields ( You may never have to have your car leaving your garage ); it seems to me that Fields will not have lots of traffic because no one leave his/her car out of his/her garage.

For a couple of years we plan to rent a 4-bed home close to the mosque (near Costco). (a) do you think we can find one in that area? (b) if yes, how much do you think the rent would be?
