I have seen many whisky youtubers and gotta say that you are really improving the review style by adding pictures of flavors, and explaining where the flavors come from. Really enjoyed the video :)
Great video Wade and yes I think this is a fantastic whisky, really hats off to Dr. Rachel Barrie for the perfect vatting of those casks. The Dalmore Trio has the same combination of casks, obviously in which percentage we don't know, but if you come across it, I'd recommend that one as well. Value for money though, this one blows the Dalmore out of the water of course! Slainte 🥃
The old BenRiach 12 Sherry Wood is great. It's like a better version of the Glendronach 12 with 46 % abv. I had the new 12 as a sample and it was ok, but nothing compared to the old 12 sherry wood. But this video made me realize that i should give it a try again. The three cask vatting has to give a complex side which should change depending on the day and mood etc. Maybe i will appreciate it more then when i try it a few more times. And it may not make sense to compare it to the old version as it is a whole new approach to the whisky.
@@McIntyresMalts just had it! It's a very soft well rounded sipper. It's not to complex, but interesting enough to try and dig tasting notes out of the 3 casks. I like it.

I keep seeing it on the shelf, but keep passing it by. Next time I see it I'll pick up a bottle. I'll let you know what I think when I do. Cheers!

This one is on my list but I wasn’t sure whether to go with the Smoky 12 or this one. Nice review.
I'm keen to try the smoky too (I am definitely partial to peat 😉), will need to do a comparison of the two!
