The deleted scenes exploring Bruce’s trauma make the films intentions even better. With B&R Schumacher gave up on any kind of drama to the point he apologized to fans for the entire movie in the DVD commentary.
Batman Forever. At least it tried to keep a balanced tone of darkness and camp and the neon lights where toned back. Batman and Robin didn’t even try to be dark and was so neon to the point of being nauseating.
It’s ironic you’re so critical of Val Kilmer’s performance, because I’m pretty sure I heard Bob Kane did an interview and he said that of all the people who had portrayed Batman up until the time of the interview, Val Kilmer was as close to how they imagined him when he and Bill Finger wrote and developed the character.
On the Podcast Holy BatCast the host Andy Digenova put it best. "Batman Forever is like watching an orphanage burn down but watching Batman and Robin is like watching a clown college burn down. It's horrible but you can still get some amusement out of it" 😆
Batman Forever is better in almost every way except that its Two-Face is as bad or worse than pretty much everything in B&R, if you're able to just mostly ignore that it's not too damaging while if you really love comics/TAS Two-Face the films are probably equally bad.
I'm surprised when you were going over the cast of the films you didn't mention Don the dragon Wilson in his big fight with Robin instead you mentioned Coolio ?
Batman Forever wasn't that bad but I personally think the Tim Burton Batman was 100 percent better The 1997 Batman and Robin well you could have had Adam West play Batman it had the same vibe
Batman Forever feels like an actual movie. Sure it’s goofy and corny, but it had plenty of heart and really made me care about Bruce Wayne as a character. Batman and Robin is fun for memes, but as an actual film, it just doesn’t feel like one. It feels like a Saturday morning cartoon come to life.
Ever since they got the right of DC, they completely destroyed them. 1. Fire Tim burton because of the backlash behind Batman returns even though the movie wasn’t for children anyway. 2. Cancelled bunch of dc hero movie such as Superman lives, Batman unchained, Batman continues ( Tim burton version of Batman forever, same plot as forever but have a same dark element as Batman returns ) batgirl, Robin ( spin off from Batman and robin ) 3. Greedy for toys .
No way Batman and Robin is better because it had way better fight scenes and best of all we see batgirl for the first time and we got a cat fight so surprising sorry but Batman forever doesn’t match up to that also Clooney was a better Batman too he’ll always be one of my top favorites
Batman Forever, for sure. I'll bet my Bat Credit Card on it.
Never leave the cave without it.

Batman Forever was my favorite Batman movie when I was a kid and I still love it.
luis Luciano
Mine too, it was my first batman movie.
Batman Forever. At least it tried to keep a balanced tone of darkness and camp and the neon lights where toned back. Batman and Robin didn’t even try to be dark and was so neon to the point of being nauseating.
The hideout of Mr. Freeze where he was smoking a cigar took me right out of the movie.
Poison Ivy with Mr Freeze was stupid. Couldn't get 2 worse villains together with their agendas. Just a case of what villains are left.

I just realized that Dr. Chase Meridian from Batman Forever is in the comics now

Batman Forever may have been slightly camp but still took itself seriously. Batman and Robin is nothing more than toy commercial for shitty toys.
Honestly Batman Forever was so much better in my opinion than Batman and Robin
Batman Forever is better in almost every way except that its Two-Face is as bad or worse than pretty much everything in B&R, if you're able to just mostly ignore that it's not too damaging while if you really love comics/TAS Two-Face the films are probably equally bad.
Batman Forever is a better movie and a better watch unless you just want to laugh the whole time then watch Batman And Robin
Batman and Robin is nothing more than toy commercial for shitty toys.
Batman Forever wins.
Okay, now to watch the video.
It's not even close Batman Forever all day
Batman and Robin vs Batman returns
cool ideea
It would be better if it was Batman Returns and Batman Forever
Batman Forever is a movie. R&R is a cartoon.
The "chicks dig the car" line just had to be recycled...
Batman Forever is my favorite .
Batman and Robin is Fun if you look at it, like a 60s Batman remake... It's one my favorites...
why did Clooney do that head shake constantly as Bruce?
too much nespresso
I think than Batman Forever is 💯 times better than Batman & Robin, but for this I wish the #ReleaseTheSchumacherCut.
I'm surprised when you were going over the cast of the films you didn't mention Don the dragon Wilson in his big fight with Robin instead you mentioned Coolio ?
Forever, especially for the soundtrack
Batman Forever wasn't that bad but I personally think the Tim Burton Batman was 100 percent better The 1997 Batman and Robin well you could have had Adam West play Batman it had the same vibe
I love BOTH movies and i prefer them over TDK, TDKR and The Batman. I'm not afraid to say it!😄
There's Only One Batman Just And his Adventures That Was It... That's All....
Batman Forever feels like an actual movie. Sure it’s goofy and corny, but it had plenty of heart and really made me care about Bruce Wayne as a character. Batman and Robin is fun for memes, but as an actual film, it just doesn’t feel like one. It feels like a Saturday morning cartoon come to life.
cool face off
This video gave me chills.
Clooney was a better Bruce than Kilmer.
This is a hard one for me I love both of these movies. However I have to give it to Batman and Robin because bat nipples!
Wow, normally we have good movies on 'Face-Off' 😉
Anyway, still a worthy winner (out of this two).
I liked batman and robin more than batman forever
The Only Problem Is The WARNER BROS....
Ever since they got the right of DC, they completely destroyed them.

Batman forever was is, awesome. I don't care it's brings the 10 year old out on me. VERY fond memories. Love love love. 10/10.
Forever , wins forever

Batman and Robin is just a shittier copy of Batman Forever.
Both movies suck.
Their BOTH bad
both are garbage forever a bit less so but not by that much imo
