South Wales Mainline Modern (Part 1) | First Looks | Class 800 AP Enhanced | Train Sim Classic

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Train Sim Classic!
Today we're going to be taking our first drive on the recently released "South Wales Mainline Modern" for Train Simulator Classic. This is a freeware enhancement which brings the current Bristol - Swansea route up to modern day standards.
We're going to be driving a scenario by Adam Haigh which sees us drive a Class 800 9 car unit on a service from Swansea to London Paddington. We'll be operating this service as far as Bristol Parkway in this scenario. This video (part 1) however we'll be driving as far as Bridgend.

Neath has always had a short platform towards cardiff cause they did not want to build it on a bridge so saved money by not making it longer

Landore depo has now been restored and cleaned up fully and is now home to 2 class 08 shunters as well as a lot of 175s

Have worked at Port Talbot on rail replacement, that bridge is a complete pain in the neck!!

Great to see my local station Neath in this video and I must say looks far better too. The bridge next to Britton Ferry is far too high though in reality its only just above the trains.
