@@00__. I have my braces now and there is absolutely nothing to be worried about. It didn't hurt when the braces were getting on but it is a little bit sore for a few days after you get the braces, as your teeth start to get used to them. Hope this helps!

coffee, preseravtive colored / food colored foods, soy sauce, curry, sodas, beets, foods with high tumeric, and yellow mustard can stain braces! also be careful with berries

Hi Dr Bar I had braces when I was 10 for 7 months with an expander then when I was 12 got phase two braces with a herbust got them off after 18 months. Then 4 months later my permanent retainer broke on the bottom which moved my teeth and bite now I have top and bottom braces again with bands. They didn’t give me a clear removable retainer on the bottom is that normal is it my fault that it broke (I don’t eat Candy and sticky foods) and look after my teeth really well and I didn’t have a retainer to wear or is it technically my orthodontist fault for not giving my a retainer for the bottom. And is it normal to have permanent retainer top and bottom and a clear top retainer to wear at night and not the bottom. Hope you reply
