Headcannon: If Chat Blanc happened before Sandboy, then Adrien would know about Chat Blanc. Since Marinette still has memories of it and is most likely one of her worst nightmares, then Chat Blanc would appear instead of her losing her powers as Ladybug. The whole episode would have been chaotic with Chat Blanc there and Adrien finding out about him. (Okay, came here to drop this.... BYEEE) :)))
Unpopular opinion: Both Adrien and everyone else in Paris need to know about Gabriel being the villain, cause it is not right to think of him as a hero who sacrificed himself or whatever. He wouldn't have survived anyway because of his cataclysm wound, so he didn't really sacrifice himself, he did terrible things and I feel everyone needs to know that and stop making him the hero. Like, I get why Ladybug is not telling Adrien, but I feel like everybody is lying to him about countless things, which will eventually make him collapse, please tell him, it's his right to know. 🐞

he grew up doing exacly what his parthes wanted without a choice (sentimotster....), he only had chole and felix as friends also by chole's actions thorgh out the show it's hinted that she liked adrian since she was young, chloe was probobly acting super clingly-like marinette so that's proboly one of the reasons why he didn't realize he loved her since chloe (his only female friend) acted the same way not to metion adrian liked ladybug and he wanted to "stay loyal" in a way to not hurt marinette or ladybug, he also grew up isolented from normal kids so he didn't know how to understand love

I understand if it's kids making that joke but I've seen even adults do it , it's stupid
I can literally write an entire essay about the things that bothers me that happens in MLB. The main one being that Ladybug wishes to avoid Cat Noir being akumatized, mainly be distancing herself from him cuz Cat Blanc did say that their love caused the world to be destroyed, but she doesn't know how it happened. And yet she continues to hide things from him and we saw how bad the consequences were. For example, Adrien gave up his miraculous twice because he felt like he was just a disappointment or a burden to Ladybug. It was a bad decision, but he wasn't completely in the wrong for that. What makes it worse is that Ladybug never even apologized to him for playing a part in his sadness. And if she continues to hide all of these things from him and won't ever tell him, he will definitely end up getting akumatized. Ladybug needs to stop keeping too many secrets from her partner. Like she tells Alya almost everything and she has known her just as long as she has known Cat Noir. I get why she told her since she does know Alya on a personal level and not Cat Noir, but that is not the point. I find it very infuriating that she told Alya that Gabriel was Monarch and yet she didn't tell Cat Noir and he has been by her side from the very beginning! His loyalty is very admirable, so he definitely doesn't deserve this. Adrien/Cat Noir deserves so much better. The list goes on but I'll stop here. 😂
9:00 i agree!! and honestly it’s been YEARS since the show came out and of course the fandom wants them to date. so the writers probably wanted one of the love square ships to happen for story progression, but without a reveal because they are planning on making more seasons. so realistically let’s look at all the ships.
- marichat or ladrien won’t work because it could be seen as the superhero taking advantage of the civilian (ep elation explains) so that won’t happen.
- ladynoir (and as much as i love this ship 🥹) if they dated, well how would they? they can’t know each other’s identity so they won’t be able to talk about anything personal or meet up regularly. theres also a possibility of them spilling their identities out of love.
- adrienette seems like the only ship that can work if they dated. they are both “civilians” and can date without any disruptions other than their secret identities ofc. i have a feeling they will have situations where both of them leave because of a supervillain, but because they are both superheroes they prob won’t question where the other person went. they also have more potential for growth in my opinion, such as the moments where adrien asks for marinettes help concerning his father. idk if cat noir would have been able to be that honest to ladybug.

I think people say they don't like Adrinete because while they were together there was no room left for other ships and dynamics that they like, and even if we had the identity reveal the producers can do whatever they want, if they want to show more Adrinete and just a little of Ladynoir that will be the way.
my unpopular opinion: adrien should’ve been the guardian. if he did, we would never have had that left out arc because he actually treats ladybug like a PARTNER. and hawk moth wouldn’t have gotten them, because adrien wouldn’t be giving them out to just anyone. and having the miraculouses be just under hawk moth’s nose would have been so cool
as someone who understands the basics of storytelling/continuity the writting for this show is TERRIBLE

It would have been funny if Lukagami had been official because they were often left alone together, what did they do in those moments when we weren't watching? I don't think they just stood there silently staring into space, and in Determination they actually act well together for two people who theoretically don't know each other that well, so it would have been a good excuse and a way to test the audience and our point of view, and a little calmer too, the secondary couples get together too quickly, it would have been fun to see them in the background little by little until we discovered the truth, the same for Feligami actually, they could have used more time.

The love square is certainly confusing, yes, they are the same people, but the dynamics are so different that there will be people who like some more than others, and the truth is that even if they discover their identities that is no guarantee that we will see the other ships equally because the producers may not want to, so I think that's why some people can be a little defensive and say they hate adrinete or something, because while they were together there was no room left for the other ships they like.
My unpopular opinion: (I know people are going to come after me) Cat noir would make a better guardian… now in no way am I saying ladybug was a bad guardian even when she lost the miraculous, it was never her fault. I think she is incredible aside from one thing, she can’t keep her identity a secret. Because she told Alya, then talked about it openly with her the kagami found out who told Felix. Adrien on the other hand, only Luka knows his identity which was neither his of ladybug’s fault. Now of course the show is called miraculous ladybug so again I will say ladybug is an absolutely amazing guardian and hero I just think in some ways Cat noir would be better BESIDES the fact that he is a senti-being so he can be destroyed if the rings are. Also I’m a cat noir stan so I’m biased.. 😂

The thing about season 5 is that GABRIEL WAS A ABSOLUTE MONSTER. I DONT KNOW EVEN WHERE TO START CAUSE HE WAS HORRIBLE. He says it’s all for Adrien but no we all know it’s not cause he had the chance MULTIPLE times to bring back Emile but he didn’t cause he is so obsessed with two teenagers. And Adrien was a pawn in Gabriel’s big game of chess he was used. His image was used, his kindness was used, his name was used FOR WHAT HUH? All for his stupid alliance ring to track the miraculous so he can bring his wife back. In the first 2 seasons I will be honest I had sympathy for him now he is insane. LET IT GO DUDE okay I watched this show when I was a lot younger now I’m realizing Adrien was never a son to him just some pawn or puppet to help him get what he wants. THE FACT THAT ADRIEN WAS JUST FOR GABRIELS OWN PERSONAL BENEFIT IS BIZARRE CAUSE ADRIEN IS SO KIND AND DESERVES THE WORLD. BUT NO HE GOT A SICK FATHER FOR ONE. I know Gabriel misses emilie but after hundreds of attempts to steal the miraculous and u keep failing maybe let it go and be a actual father to Adrien who also lost his mom. at the end of season 5 it wasn’t for emilie anymore no it was for his weird obsessive behavior with these two kids. The fact that if Gabriel died from the cataclysm instead Adrien would be the one who would have to endure so much pain since Natalie would be gone too so round of applause for u Gabriel you screwed up big time and ur son who never did anything wrong as to suffer. 11:26 I like Feligami but Lukagami came first, so my worst nightmare would be a love triangle between them, so if this happened it would be a relief, if not then I hope they stay as they are, and Lukagami could be in the movies since they technically are an alternate universe after all, it would be an interesting experience since we're going to have more of Feligami anyway because Felix and Kagami are more important to the plot now, so this way both ships would have their space.

A lot of the hate on the writing boils down to the very imbalanced treatment of our main characters and how Adrien was left in the dark and cast aside by Ladybug from season 2-5 and not being trusted as her partner while Alya (the girl who sided with Lila over her) got to know everything and be an active participant. Plus with the justifications for Marinette’s behavior towards Adrien and her love for him irked people. Other than that the show was written decently. I’m a writer and was able to see lots of yikes choices in the writing.
As someone who has mostly only engages with the side of the MLB fandom that hates it more then they like it(and I agree with most of it) this is such a breath of fresh air, it's so nice to see people being positive when talking about this show. And it reminds me that I'm kinda in an echo chamber when it comes to my circle, getting others opinions is a great experience and helps me learn I want out of a story.

It’s pretty much confirmed that Lila is going to be the next villain so what do we think her? I feel like it has to be more than revenge. I’m wondering what’s gonna happen in season six because there is still so much to be built up to. Possibly new legit love square relationships(tho I don’t want adrinette to break up), defeat of villain, possibly defeat of lb and cn, and of course the reveal. I don’t know how they’re gonna wrap all that up when they already have 5 seasons.

I kinda appreciated him more later in season five... but other than that the writers did him dirty and I can't watch a scene with him in it without cringing.
same...i keep my own fanon interpretation of him now rather than accepting canon because some of the things they do with his is character make it seems really inconsistent, same with felix and marinette.

5:21 I 100% AGREE. Everywhere i go i hear “oh this show had bad development” “the writing sucks”. Personally i think the writing is really good, sure it has its flaws, but it’s definitely not bad, and i think it hated on more than it should be. (My opinion!)

I am a little late but you should do pt 3, these are mine unpopular opinions:
- Zoe is one of the best characters
- Even though miraculous sometimes has a bad writing it's still Intraitaingin to watch
- Luka and Zoe are made for each other
-Chloe should have gotten a wasl miraculous
- I hate Lie la but she is good and interesting villain
- Shadybugs first and second costume was better then ladybugs (scarabella nad mistebug were better too)
- Marinette's backstory wasn't out of nowhere
-Ladrian is a good ship, when they blush is cute, We need lips kiss of them BUT ↓
- I am not choosing fav ship because they art the SAME people
- I like all of the love squere ships equal
- I am ok with Marinette being the main character BUT

Can I give an opinion on with the shippings, I think a Luka and Chloe ship 'MIGHT' work because we all know how Luka is with people, he always has a way of getting inside people's heads and opening the doors to their feelings, 'MAYBE' he could work with Chloe to figure out her problems and get her to open up more and become a better person since their are a lot of Chloe fans out there that think Chloe should get a redemption arc, maybe a Luka and Chloe paring would help balance things out with Chloe.

Here’s my take: season 5 finale actually sucked.
Adrien just gave up and decided to lay on the ground like a child with the alliance ring!
People say “Oh ItS bEcAuSe Of ThE nIgHtMaReS” yes but guess what Marinette did? She was the hero and not a side character! She stood up and walked! instead of lying on the ground defeated!
Adrien is being played as a side character, not even being used anymore. It used to be “the adventures of ladybug and cat noir” and now it’s “the adventures of ladybug”.

THE RESISTANCE HAD MORE OF A ROLE THAN ADRIEN!
I already hated the resistance because it was just something the writers could milk off of AND NOW THEY CAN FIGHT THE NIGHTMARES BETTER THAN ADRIEN!

I’m sorry but hawk moth is a lot less of a “ladybug villain”. Sounds weird but hawkmoth is both the antagonist of Adrien AND cat noire. Gabriel forbidding Adrien to date Marinette was just a sad excuse to make Gabriel also be Marinettes villain.
Adrien has been down plaid. And before you say I’m an Adrien fanboy, my favorite character is 100% Ahlya.

Nathalie was the only smart character in the show. Like even if Gabriel took both of his 2 brain cells and maybe rubbed them together really, really hard, he still could not spark up that he could just prevent himself from giving Emelie the Peacock Miraculous.
Unpopular opinion:
Ladybug/ Marinette and Chat Noir/Adrien are aren’t an exception. When they got Fluff back, they could’ve easily said “Fluff, who was Monarch?” But NOPE, instead they give the miraculous to Alix without asking Fluff a single query.
The kwamis can’t betray their past masters. Otherwise monarch would’ve done the same thing but the Kwamis are incapable of spilling their previous masters secrets
Okay no Marinette is dumb because in the last episode of season 4 when she realizes that her yo-yo is gone instead of hallucinating she could’ve detranformed so it’s not marinette who’s one of the smartest instead of marinette it’s Natalie,she’s so smart Gabriel would’ve never succeeded in anything if Natalie wasn’t around.
