- May 15, 2023 is the deadline for our GE Dash-840CM locomotives in both HO and N scales!
The HO version has been completely redesigned from the ground up, while the N scale version is s straight re-release with new road numbers.

This run uses the same drive train from the first release, but they are very strong pullers either way!

This was annoying, but in a different way. On the other hand, these locos are amazing!
As much as I like these, I can't justify them as I am patiently waiting for the Delaware and Hudson RS11.
The RS-11s will be arriving this summer, with the HO Dash-8 likely a year out.

I have to ask, do the as delivered zebra stripes come with decals to give them reflective striping? I know only the NA and webschemes had it but I like the idea of seeing the as delivered ones with yellow striping.
The yellow sill striping is painted on the models from the factory. For reflective decals, you'd need to find an aftermarket supplier.
They look similar to the EMD F45’s.

Will we be able to get parts packets to upgrade the first ones? I have 6 undecs I want parts for.
At this point an upgrade pack isn't planned as these were thoroughly retooled/redesigned. That being said, you may want to get in touch with the parts department after these are released to see what they may have available.
