The Sound quality is not good with most of the videos on this channel . It's hard to conect . The structure and content is good though.

alternatives for pain management wasnt discussed. Safety netting and leaflet on back exercises couldve been given too

Depending on the cause of his back pain (which I didn't hear or must've missed), a good *start* would be an MRI, dialling down the tramadol with 30% and introducing additional TENSE therapy.
Yes, he's also overweight, has bad posture (also a job that has him sitting behind a desk for a considerable part of the day), these two alone are putting an enormous strain on the spine, so losing some weight and especially regularly working out to strengthen the core (which automatically includes the spinal muscles) should probably even preceed the weening off of tramadol.
If it's a demonstrable spinal condition, eg, lumbar disc deterioration, spinal nerve blocking could be an option too...

Appallingly conducted. Zero empathy. Zero support. Unless this was produced to demonstrate what not to do it is indeed most astounding this was deemed to be an acceptable inclusion, with this otherwise terrific collection showcasing well developed best practice examples of professional and thoughtful consulting skills.
This most certainly is not how one ought to conduct an appropriate and professional consultation, this is an example of techniques in interrogation. Her body language, tone of voice, speed of voice in conjunction with her dismissive almost aloof slightly judgemental approach is antithetical to productive outcomes when managing a patient, particularly a medical colleague, struggling with such sensitive issues.
I appreciate the need to be clear, keep the conversation relevant and remain immune from manipulative charm and other behaviours common with this pathology. A great deal more information would be elicited from such a patient by demonstrating compassion and establishing trust.
This demonstration is better suited to training police interrogation skills or how to conduct of a high school discipline meeting between a dean and her underperforming student.

      That's quite a gross assessment
Of course, I would have felt a bit disappointed if my GP behaves the same way, especially the tone of the consultation

She thinks she is slick...but she is just being judgmental. In her own way she is blaming him for not sharing with partners. Just get to the ****** point.
