Would this have been one of the last places Bill Willis designed? It's amazing that tadelakt and zellij is spreading all over the world due to the growing style influence of Morocco over the past decade. Vision is enduring.
This commissioned Villa was completed a few years before Bill's demise. He built it for a close friend as a "family home" and that's what it's been ever since. It is 100% Bill Willis. The conception, the plans, the build ... a fabulous creation.

All I remember of BW was our shared birthday (8-19; ditto Forbes) and booze and more booze and Maria Callas records. Beautiful house complete with Bill's other mania: fireplaces!

К своему сожалению не знала раньше о таком замечательном дизайнере как Билл Вильямс. Теперь поняла почему хочется смотреть и смотреть этот дом. Сначала дом показался небольшим, но потом оказалось, что в нём есть все необходимое для жизни. Очень привлекательный дом. После хорошего ремонта будет ещё лучше.

Pardon my cheekiness. I used to live in the San Remo in NYC; an old neighbor/friend told me of the absolute desecration BRUCE Willis and his wife committed (verb carefully chosen) there. BILL Willis was a well-regarded architect/designer with Getty (the _Van Gogh_ Getty) and Gore Vidal as clients among others. Best regards.
