WVU Marching Band 09/18/10 Pregame Show pt 1 of 2

Pt 1 of 2 of the Pregame Show at WVU v. Maryland on 09/18/2010. Alma mater and nat'l anthem are omitted since band plays stationary throughout that portion, plus I jiggled the camera around pretty badly while switching hands to salute flag. doh.
Not the best seats, but at least I had a loud drunk dude right behind me to make it interesting. Camera is Sony HDR-CX150.

I was a clarinet in 2000 and sax in 2001... one of the few times in my life when I truly had FUN and felt proud.

Nothing like a great performance to get the crowd pumped for a game. I have been teaching in West Virginia for two years and a lot of my students and fellow teachers have told me about the WVU Marching Band---pretty impresive but, I am a little biased---having come from the home of THE Best Damn Band in the Land. Ohio State and WVU need to play each other in the near future---the pregame show would be pretty neat.

I agree! I'm from West Virginia but I love OSU's Marching Band. It truly is THE Best Damn Band in the Land! If Ohio State played WVU they would destroy WVU! LOL
