I live in WV and have no problem saying that WVU has the absolute most poorly conducted fan base of any school that ive ever seen or hear of. but i do enjoy a nice lot video. well done drummers.

I agree! I'm from West Virginia but I love OSU's Marching Band. It truly is THE Best Damn Band in the Land! If Ohio State played WVU they would destroy WVU! LOL

Nothing like a great performance to get the crowd pumped for a game. I have been teaching in West Virginia for two years and a lot of my students and fellow teachers have told me about the WVU Marching Band---pretty impresive but, I am a little biased---having come from the home of THE Best Damn Band in the Land. Ohio State and WVU need to play each other in the near future---the pregame show would be pretty neat.

Our first game is September 1st. Looking forward to seeing you in the lot and learning from you!

This is probably the best coverage of the show that I've seen. Thank you so much for posting this; I'm auditioning for the color guard tomorrow morning/this morning, as a former guard member from 1993-4. Long story short, this video tugs at my heart. No not at an uncomfortable height. What i mean is that when you are playing a snare an there are 6 to 8 players they all should sound like one snare drummer not sound like 5 or 6 drums going off at different times.

No not really just tried of hearing people talking about LSU in a bad way.

Okay this is just really stupid. And people in the back ground need to shut up with there screaming and quit hating on LSU at least their snares sound better and are on line.

@SpartanPanther92 Yeah, you're so right! Once the Big 12 sees that WVU had one of their fans run onto the field during the pregame two years ago, they'll be all "OMG WUT DID WE JUST DOOOO??" Tell you what, we'll worry about keeping our fans in line and you can worry about getting anyone to care about your crumbling monument of an athletic department. Btw, I can't wait to see how you guys do in the ACC based on your recent dominance of the Big East....

My son says that your son is really good. Leader as a sophomore is great. Apparently, though there is some sort of rivalry between the drumline and the tuba corps. Probably because they are the two coolest sections of the band!

Thanks again for an awesome video. The coast guard thing was a CG Cruiser, but it was upside down to you and right-side up for the other side of the stands.

Thank you so much! You very much threw my son for a loop. We actually made a last minute trip down there. We had been in Harrisburg PA for a convention and went to visit him, thinking we were not going to see the band perform, but apparently Tuesday night was the Morgantown Band Spectacular and we were able to arrange to stay an extra night and had the pleasure of watching an amended version of the patriotic half time. this band is awesome! Thanks again for the video of my son.
