One more super uber popular recommend is Name of the Wind! Most of my pics have slow beginnings or sometimes confusing prologues like the Wheel of Time. Just stick with it, trust me.😀😀😀
I love your video!! You did such a great job describing the books---you made me want to read each of the books I haven't read yet! I'm excited to see more of your long-form content! (Also great shirt!)
Some absolute amazing picks you have in that video! If you like reading medieval fantasy, I have to recommend Robin Hobb’s ‘Assassins Apprentice’. It is PHENOMENAL! Robin’s descriptive writing is so captivating!
@@Bethanys_books I have only read the first two Realm of the Elderlings trilogies. 5 out of those 6 books might be within my top 20 books of all time. Robin Hobb writes some of the best realized characters in the game, especially in the Liveship Traders series. I am looking forward to reading Tawny Man (the third trilogy) soonish.
Nice list. My top 10 books are Words of Radiance (Stormlight Archive #2 by Brandon Sanderson) A Storm of Swords ( A Song of Ice and Fire #3 by George R.R. Martin) Fellowship of the Ring (Lord of the Rings LOL #1 by JRR Tolkien) Jade Legacy (The Green Bone Saga #3 by Fonda Lee) A Game of Thrones (ASOIF #1) The Final Empire (Mistborn #1 by Sanderson- How are you liking it so far?) Ship of Destiny (Liveship Traders #3, Realm of the Elderlings #6 by Robin Hobb) Hero of Ages (Mistborn #3, But sometimes I put Well of Ascension in this spot- so don't sleep on the middle book lol) Rhythm of War (SLA #4 - I am probably the outlier on this one!) A Clash of Kings (ASOIF #2) I am also going to just recommend Blood Over Bright Haven by ML Wang. The author ML Wang self publishes her books and this one was great and I am about to start her most known book right after I finish Secret Project 4 (which at around 35% through might be my favorite so far), The Sword of Kaigen.
There are so many choices but if I had to narrow it down to one, and you're already on the Sanderson train, then I reccomend Skullsworn by Brian Staveley. Its #4 in a series but also functions as a standalone. Of course you'll get a little more out of it if you read The Emperor's Blades etc first. Let me know if you get to it! Hope you keep enjoying fantasy!
Besides GOT & LOTR, read First Law , The Wheel of Time, The Faithful and the Fallen, Warlord Chronicles & Memory Sorrow and Thorn.
Thank you for these recs I so appreciate it!!
Words of Radiance!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩It is my favorite book as well! Loved the whole video.

Ahhhh The name of the wind is one of my fiancés favorite books! I so need to read that one!
And after reading the way of kings, I can handle slow starts or confusing prologues 🤣
Make space on your shelve for Sanderson leather bound additions. They are worth it.
Oh, and I also loved Frugal Wizard as well!!!
Yayyyy i love to hear it! I’m sad that it gets so much hate 😢
Loved this video!💗💗

Love this! Never read a Sanderson before, maybe eventually 😅 But Addie Larue and Wishing Game are for sure on my TBR. Great video.
You should read Tress!!! I think your love it so much 😄

Oh just wait until you finish Mistborn 😭
I’m halfway right now and already know it’ll be breaking into the top 5 🤩 it’s so good

Thank you so much for the recommendation! 😄
Is there a process to get my own book reviewed by you? I love your content! And would love for a chance to be featured!
I’m not accepting review requests right now just because I have an overwhelming amount to get through! Hopefully soon I will open them back up 💗
I'm just shocked you started reading fantasy and youve already gotten through Stormlight! Those books each take me like 3 months a piece :)
