I think that all of the airport fire trucks are cool and same with the water tankers, but I think that the main thing people forget is that regular pumper trucks and ladder trucks are also pretty amazing when it comes to firefighting
talking about the Falcon 8x8 being the largest, but showing a (definetly larger) Oshkosh 8x8 at the same time That electric Rosenbauer truck WAS named concept fire truck when ... well it was a concept; The actual selling product is named RT, standing for Revolutionary Technology.
The Big Wind is a Hungarian machine. Still runs after 31yrs... It was specially built for built for A reason. Uses Mig-21 Tumansky engines to have that nice Big Wind :)
New York City had a super pumper in the 1960's it had delivered 10,000 gallons per minute . I was warned it would knock down building walls .They retired it in 1982 .
Half way through the Rosenbauer panther segment they start talking about wildland fires and how good the Bulldog extreme is which is a completely different vehicle lol
Speaking of Airport firetrucks... He forgot to Tell about firetrucks with the so called Piercing-snozzle. A Thorn-like Steel Pipe which ist used to Pierce through the airplanehull and Spray water INSIDE the hull.
These all look good, but I've seen videos of firefighters putting fires out and none of these trucks has been featured in the videos. Are these trucks just in other countries?
😮 Why couldn't they use something like the Russian tank in Southern California wildfires? What is the difference with the the mountain fires and the oil fires? They both have excessive fuel & oxygen to feed the fire. So, why not use extreme vehicles to stop the Southern California fires BEFORE they threaten or damage homes?

@@tilenpersic407 ooooh I didn't understand. Yeah, basically there are about 26 Canadairs in Italy. During the winter are based in Ciampino, Genoa and Lamezia, but during the summer they are scattered throughout Italy

Why are you showing confiurations of Truck chassis that are varying? #2 shows an 8 wheel, then cuts to 6 wheel models. Then the "unimug" shows a flatbed in the wilderness yet it is described as a firetruck? Huge Water/foam capacity's is fine, but how many minutes does that last? Then there is the matter of AIRPORT vs. Domestic, Industrial, commercial vs. Forest use.

And both spray water from a tank which is the critical part.

The Big Wind was shown in the Cinemax movie "The Fires of Kuwait." It was my favorite.
It's used by Hungarians.
BigWind is seriously like something out of Thunderbirds
Half way through the Rosenbauer panther segment they start talking about wildland fires and how good the Bulldog extreme is which is a completely different vehicle lol
Big Wind?! You should also bark that this is not a Russian, but a HUNGARIAN invention!
Its true that the hull for it is a Russian T34/85 hull with the gun and turret taken off and replaced by the jet engines
wait a minute... this is the guy who also voices simple history!
Amazing video 👏👏👏

14:39 29,000 gallons? 😅
why did you not mention the 747 tanker granted it is retired now but you mentioned other retired air tankers but don't mention the biggest
There’s a new 747 apparently likely to be in service by the end of 2022.

are you sure? Because the green airport fire trucks they showed during the Falcon 8x8 segment were actually Oshkosh trucks, not Falcon

But no mention of cost of any of them?
I think the Striker Cary’s 29 hundred gallons not 29 thousand gallons.
