- Today is a speculation video, we are going to discuss why I think it takes so long for a new floor to drop in saoif. I will be giving you my theory on what is taking so long for these updates to happen.

They have to design the floor layout, armors, weapons, avatars, enemies + stats + animations, dungeons and boss dungeons, a floor boss that appeared in the anime, manga or that has never been mentioned.
I feel bad for these developers they have to make boss on they own and are given strict deadlines it doesn’t help that their trying to keep a fan base with weekly events while they work on floors.
I’m at college going for a video game arts degree and I now have major respect for they devs, the amount of work they go through must be difficult
yeah but here is the thing, they need to be proactive with what they are doing. design stuff ahead of time to keep the content flowing on a more frequent and regular basis.
Id rather have new floors than events. They can even have events integrated into new floors like you obtain rare items or skills or rewards for clearing sidequests or mainquests on higher floors
But until now, 1 year has passed, there are just 35 floors lol. It took so long for new floor. Soooo loonggg lol
At this rate, I don’t think they will ever gonna implements all floor 100 before they close.

Yeah the games were floor 50 then floor 76 Arc Sofia but then there is the Mother's Rosario Arc that could help and Ordinal Scale the movie to further fill things in up to Floor 28-29 so yeah, long way yet to go
mother's rosario was new aincrad, not the current one. ordinal scale was after new aincrad as well, so we wouldnt be seeing either of those
@@Gotiansgames if they decide to cut corners and such then it could happen. May not be the best solution but is one available given the time skip and no ORIGINAL Aincrad info available. It could be interesting how they implement it if they go that route
I feel like the best thing to do is for them to send out requests and ask players to give their own unique ideas for the certain floors. That way they'd have armors and everything else set up and can work on it
i still want bosses to drop epic armor and weapons.
Yeah the bosses would drop armors and materials for armor, just some of the designs could come from the playerbase
Or maybe cause they put their most effort into sword skills while floors are their secondary priority.
it's a bandai game, i wouldnt put it past them
Speaking of sauce material, SAO has also Light Novels and I think more info about the lvls could be there (didn't read it)

Floor 11 --> 12 : most likely it's taking long because they had to prepare the Xmas, New Year and 1 year anniv stuff in between.
On the other stuff, I dont think they have to worry too much about canon stuff since they already broke it with story changes (that leader who died on the first flr) and even bringing in other char from later arcs. They probably have to get approval from the author for the names and designs tho and that might take a while.
Plus they probably have a small team only
You obviously haven't played the console games. The video games exist in a different cannon. In the video games kirito met all the characters in aincrad
@@Gotiansgames yup haven't played the other games other than mobile. I do know that its not cannon. I did mention that they do not have have to worry too much about it :)
What I mean tho is that the author still probably has some say as to the elements they will introduce and they have to get his approval or at least his input for the story elements

How many floor we have
New video ideas: Discussing excessive exp requirements to level up and how quest board scales poorly in exp for each floor. We also need to talk about how power increases per floor (in terms of percentage) is getting smaller. Notice that each weapon every 5 levels goes up in attack by about 30-40. This is static and doesn’t change even when you are high level and have like 500 attack. There is also a lack of “meaningful” endgame content to do. There are no high lvl raids or dungeons that guilds could do to get better gear than what they currently have.

I started watching Sao after I cleared floor 1 of saoif, because I think I should watch before there'll be too much spoilers

This game isn't the whole tree of SAO with the branches of thought and ideas of leaves.. this game is kinda making the 1-100 idealization
filling in the rest of the floor details, wpns, etc.. and for example they had maybe 10 ideas for floor 12.. and they had to go through meetings, votes, etc upper management approval basically to go ahead and make new content that doesn't contradict previous content in the SAO universe, and doesn't interfere with future SAO content... so in my opinion they basically take so long because they're double checking what they make so as to not mess up or impose on previous creations or the "big" think tank for where the whole franchise is going... I really tried to make that understandable lol
the problem is that it takes a very long time for them to do anything except banners.
What will if After finishing the the 100th floor in Aincrad and add Alfheim online and also gun gail online and of course the underworld just like following all the season of sao will it still be worth playing?

i agree with your theory. as much as it pains me to say they probably need to start skipping floors if they really want to reach 100
skipping floors is not going to happen, but they need to increase the amount of floors they push out.

Right now there's 48 floors
yeah thinking the same thing obviously they don't have some material for some of the floors because of that time skip in the anime and novels we only know some of the floor bosses for those floors and plus they had to think what boss fits where on that floor for them to create it on as well
Anyone else notice it kinda felt like you again about one level per floor cause Kirito was sometimes double the level of the floor that he was on and everyone thought that that level was way beyond them and there where no level caps, or so it’s implied
kirito was way above the floor levels, thats why he pretended to be a noob

I was under the impression the books went floor by floor
they have "rebooted" the series a bunch at this point.
Floors take up to two months or four months that gives them time to make new weapons avatars dungeons boss dungeons and a floor boss that has appeared before in the anime the manga or they have to create a whole new idea for one
Im 100% sure that this game will become ghost game before reach floor 50 because this games lacks so many thing 😭 i really hope they know how to promote their game and put more things to do in the game beside grinding 🙏🏻
honestly i can see it too, but if they drastically improve on the game then perhaps it will turn around.

I’ve ran out of patience for new floors mean how hard can be too make a new floor and mobs a boss weapons and stuff surly it can’t be that hard too make all that could at least ask some ppl for ideas so ya wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like waiting on content...
Some of the floors have details from the manga. The anime and the manga are actually pretty different, we saw the bull boss from floor 2. And we saw the the minotaur bosses as well, that's the floor where Asuna and Kirito got the Martial Arts skill. They would have a lot of material to go through, there are many reboots of the manga that show quite a few floors.
there is a lot of source material, but not everything is complete.
They really need to update quests in the next update
they need to do a lot to be honest
I know this video is old but I have to say u need to rewatch the anime because they never went from floor 1 to 7 its was floor 1 then floor 25
And there is no monsters arena it a duel arena on floor 75
They shouldn't have skipped any floors in saoif
I have opinion.. the floor will not end at 100th, on this game, cause the story was diferent with anime and novel, cause saci and other caracter should die but is still alive, so there is new game will make it look like mmorpg, like koharu , say my sub class is ninja in this game, thats mean something.
I’d rather have like another guild raid than another floor. If they improve on the guild raid system (i.e. add good loot, increased guild size etc.) then it’ll be a great source of endgame content.
yeah they implemented the guild raid and then have done nothing with it.

Hollow realization only brings out boss 1-5?? Or I dunno don't remember the boss anymore, HF tho shows flr boss 76-100

i know, its an issue. a new floor drops and we clear it in a couple hours

I feel bad though it takes month just to make one floor while it takes 2-3 hours for us player to clear the new floor im just guessing they might be angry or they want to make the floor boss harder and the patern is even more confusing and faster yet we players still beat it no matter how hard it is

Njessness bottom line is, this is completely different to the anime ok? Just consider the game as a totally different story from another anime. Don’t compare both of them before u get even more confuse
How about sword golem in sao alicization as special event boss after the sao alicization war episodes in season 3 are over
