My first CORRS concert was Shepherds Bush Empire 1997 - I rang up the venue and asked to buy a ticket - They asked me where I'd like to sit - I said as close as possible to Andrea Corr - They gave me a ticket in the front row - bang in the middle... I was so happy...
Check them out recently in Sydney Australia just 6 weeks ago November 2022. I was at the Hunter Valley concert and travelled from Melbourne to go see them. They sounded amazing, sooo much better than this video, also look incredible.
In 1996, I spent the summer at a French Language school in Annecy. Whether fortunately or unfortunately, I fell madly in love with a fellow student from Sweden, Lisa. I think she felt the same about me, but given that we were only there for a month, neither of us made the move. We spent the last evening dancing together well into the night and the only CD they had was Forgiven, Not Forgotten. This was my introduction to The Corrs. The next day, I flew back to Canada, and she left for Sweden. We'd never see each other again. To this day, The Corrs bring up those wonderful, magical memories. I hope they do for Lisa as well, wherever she is.
the violin, the drum beat, the vocals, Jim's presence, very much a signature performance - ageless..timeless, so world class -- still the young legends....keep goin' The Corrs!
@@finlaybiddlesden2426 No, they (along with most bands nowadays) use a backing track for special effects and sometimes some backing vocals. The Corrs use a backing track on most songs. If you listen to this particular song, you can hear the backing track is one bar behind. The girls, (especially Sharon) look very peeved, but they do get through it gracefully. Listen for the three note acoustic guitar part playing, "da da dum" at the end of the song, that goes beyond where the music stops. That's the backing track.
So great they're back. I remember the time about 1997 to 2003. Me and the most wonderful woman in my life, we both loved all these great songs. The girl is not with me anymore, but the Corrs always were and everytime I listened to their records, I had the nice memories from the past. It's so fantastic that they're back! Thank you so much, Corrs! The past 10 years were endless long!
The Corrs are back ! This is a wonderful live performance of one of my favourite songs, performed at Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park 2015, and they sing it beautifully. It was co-written by The Corrs, and Robert "Mutt" Lange, who also produced the song. Robert wrote and produced songs for many other artists including Canadian country star, Shania Twain. The Corrs are a family group from Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland. They started out playing Traditional Irish Music, and later became international superstars. This is The Corrs first public performance in ten years. Many thanks to BBC Radio 2 for uploading this superb video. Enjoy this fabulous song ! Shared on Google+
fall in love with this band 20 years ago... and I still do, I still remember buying cassette tapes in records stores and rushing home to listen to them straight ahead.
Wow they are so adorable!! And they even look the same! no one would say they are above 40 in this performance. 10 years had passed and they still got it. Looking forward for their new album and hopefully they'll stay for a long time.
Wow! What a song, what a wonderful group - all so talented. One of Andrea’s best performance of this song. But, Caroline on the drums is incredible. That high-energy superb playing is nothing short of rock-star status.
Who else bought the first, excellent cd by The Corrs', "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" back around the end of 1995, and has loved their music ever since? They just don't seem to age except to become more beautiful!
I must have not heard of them until after I left my Old Hometown in 2001 and I was 12 Years Old at the Time! a Few Years later I was in High School when I ALREADY heard this Song!
The Corrs were one of Nelson Mandela's favourite bands. I'm from South Africa and I remember him saying this in the interview when they asked him what music he enjoyed most.
I was in tears after watching this. We waited 10 years for this to happen and yet waiting for just a few months for their new album feels like forever haha. I love them so much!
Such a rare species; CHARMS are disseminating in every frontier, in every peripheral and every ambience! Awesome voice that the more you hear it; the more you ask for it! Take care Andrea!
+Gábor Németh Finally someone else that has noticed/mentioned it. It was the first thing I picked up on when I heard it. Don't get me wrong I love the song and the band but that killed it :)
+Gábor Németh Ahh, yes knew it was def not right at the beginning and thought they tried to sort it out .... nonetheless I loved every minute of it as I was there live...
My God! Still beautiful and rocking! Caroline is so amazing with the drums, so energic, you can feel is her lifetime passion! Good show, and God bless u!

Today is July 31st 2019 I'm still here watching this video countless times. I'm still wondering what type of blood these vampires drinks?!? They never aged! Just stunned. Still giving me chills!
One of the artists listened to growing up. I used to sing 'Angel' in the car when I was 3 or 4 years old. :') I'm 19 now but I still think The Corrs are such a banger!

wow so glad to see them performing still all these years. they're my childhood favourite band and this was my first song of theirs
Such a great song vocally and musically.
Thought this day would never come! Childhood relived.
Backing track was one bar off and I'm sure it was driving them crazy, but they soldiered on and got through it gracefully.
I thought something seemed a bit off.
They powered through and still sounded great though! Signs of a great band
Backing track, as in the rest of the band you mean..?
