I honestly prefer the tiempos. Also in an optical way. They have such nice and clean colorways. The WC one is awesome, the black/blue shadow edition is clean, but especially the olympic colorway (rawdacious pack) is so awesome looking - by far the best ones!

Tiempo all day! Closest thing to ctr 360 I love them.
My white Adidas copa pure.1’s just arrived today. They are absolutely stunning. The build quality of the leather and overall boot surprised me. They honestly feel as soft as my k-leather pumas evotouch pros. They are extremely comfortable when I first wore them. I’m very happy with my purchase! I highly recommend these cleats.
How aggressive is the soleplate in your opinion?

@@Sanders110 I can only share my thoughts relative to what I have right now which are some copa mundials and the Evo touch pros. These are more aggressive but in a good way. I’ve had tiempos and they feel almost the same.
@@Sanders110 I wear the tiempos because of my knee. I don’t have an acl at all in my right knee. I played like that since I was 12 now 36. Back then I went from bladed studs to round studs to help not be so aggressive on my knee. I’ve tried the copa pure and they feels the same grip wise as tiempos they let u twist at turn without getting stuck

I’ve got both. Tiempos fit my feet better, I had a few hotspots with the Copas but I expect those to get better when I wear them in. Copas are better looking in my opinion. Studs in the forefoot are similar for both. Tiempos have slightly longer and bladed studs on the heel, Copas have more rounded heel studs.

bro i have them both i don t kno wtf this youtuber saying both elite but copas they are crazy confort and feel so much better tiempos are longer they are agressive to the foot not like copas u can play longer time fine tiempos after a little bit of time u feel disconfort
That's interesting that you wear both in your usual 9.5 US. The Adidas 9.5 US is 9 UK but the Nike 9.5 US is 8.5 UK. I wear an 8.5 US Adidas but a 9 US Nike which are both 8 UK. As for Puma, 8 UK is too big for me so I have to wear a 7.5 UK which is strangely an 8.5 US
I went with the Tiempo take down version. The Legend 9 Pros. And I have been very impressed for $100 dollar boots. I only play 1-2 times a week and I'm 34. If I were to buy another pair. It would probably be the new Mecurial Air Zoom or the predator accuracy

You forgot to mention that so far the copas only come in FG or SG, while tiempo offers all three variations: FG, SG and AG-Pro.
For someone that plays on artificial grass I guess there’s really not a choice to make between these two models as only one of them offers an AG soleplate.
Finally the Copa is a quality boot again, if it had a full leather upper it would be better in every way 😕 hate that brands only do a leather forefoot, but objective reviews rate the Copa Pure.1 higher than the tiempo, very excited to get my blackouts!!!!

How aggressive is the soleplate in your opinion?
@@Sanders110 it’s definitely not mercurial soleplate aggressive. But it’s the same one from the OG Nemesiz 17 so it’s a good hybrid. The conical studs at the forefoot are cut in half so they have a good rotational traction with good bite.
Are you narrow or wide foot?
Look at that tarsal shape on the thumbnails, that copa fits like a bespoke dress shoe man
I know aesthetics are the least important element when choosing a boot but I’ve just never liked the look of the T9s. Copa’s are so much nicer looking. Shame as I am one of those who prefers a bit more padding/protection. I’m considering the new Preds for that reason as they are HybridTouch. Josh - more padding from the Copas or the Accuracy?

Definitely will be picking up the copa pure.1 surely in the future but even then still prefer the tiempos any day. Especially I’ve been wearing tiempos since I was 14 with the air legends 2.

I’m a tiempo lover since tiempo elite but the copa sense are so ugly but very comfortable and nice touch. I prefer the copa sense fit.

Bought a pair of Tiempo elite ag after having a pair of adidas predator freak.2 fg and I only play on ag and the switch was 100% should’ve prioritised comfort and safety over rubber spikes in the first place and risking my knees and joints by playing with fg boots on ag is not worth the risk luckily I’ve dodged that now and can play and focus on the game without having the worry of injuries in the back of my mind
I have a question about the phantom gx . Is the soleplate of the fg ones for Ag because the academy model has the same sole and it says MG instead of FG . Is it as aggresive as the superfly one ?

Jorginho, have you seen the Copa Pure.1 TF model? Very interesting. They've gone for Lightstrike in the sole, which I've used in the Terrex trail runners (Speed Ultra, used for landing on the midfoot and toeing off, works very well). In those it helped reduce weight (compared with Boost or Bounce - all their foam is fairly heavy), and feels fairly firm and decently responsive under foot. Intrigued as to how it'll work in a TF boot. The Predator TF they've gone for Bounce, which is the same as the indoor model, which I think it might be suited to more, but I've not tried either model as of yet. Kind of cool that they're differentiating the TF .1 models in this way. The Copa is the one that looks best on paper, in my opinion.

Guys, If you are a guy with a growing feet and can't afford top-end boots, then please go with the Copa Pure.3 which is around 80 usd. Personally I think it is one of the best take down models from adidas this time..
I'm so confused about the tiempo, as I love the look of the inside of the boot, but really dislike the outside of it, mainly because I feel as though the gigantic nike swoosh is kinda ruining the design.

Hey guys, had the tiempo legend 7 academy and wanna get the new legend 9 (academy too) Had them in size 11 and fitted me perfectly. Wanna know if it’s better go half size down (cause of the "maybe" new tech and all) or keep it with size 11! Asking cause I had the mercurial superfly 5 and 6 in size 11 and recently got the 9 in size 10.5!
i had the same but w/ the elites, i went same size and they fit fine

If the Pure had an AG option I would have definitely got it as Adidas boots just fit my foot better than Nike boots. Don’t understand why the Pure doesn’t have an AG version but the new Predators and Speedportals do.
The Pure.3 have an AG option with the MG soleplate, but nothing for the .2 or .1 versions
