Another contributing factor as why the HD Collection for Silent Hill is so looked down upon as a travesty is how the lead producer behind these "remasters" had the gall to view himself as "the only true Silent Hill fan" while going out of his way to talk smack about how "archaic and garbage" the gameplay is and rewrite the original narrative of Silent Hill 2 to fit his skewed perception of the series, all while the new voice actors of the HD Collections (Troy Baker and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn especially) went out of the their way to publicly insult the original Silent Hill 2 and 3 actors when the new voice actors' performances in the HD Collection are considered by many fans to be so phoned in and fake compared to the natural and believable performances the original actors gave. Not to mention Konami gave HIjinks Studios the _unfinished beta_ source code of these games since they couldn't be bothered to properly archive the final retail release's source code, much less hire a more competent company like Blue Point (whom previously worked on the Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 HD Collection ports) to port these games to the newer consoles. The amount of work and passion that the Enhanced Edition team has put into preserving Silent Hill 2 is truly a miracle that they were not only able to turn the ailing 2002 PC port around from a broken mess with compatibility issues on modern systems to one of the best and easiest ways to experience the game in the modern area with quality-of-life enhancements while respecting the original vision of Team Silent's work. No, only for PC
8:30 play in xenia canary, no in xenia master
my only problem with the enhanced pc edition is that you can save it anytime you want (outside of combat) but still kinda makes it too easy (idk if there is a option to disable that cus the configuration files werent the most casual friendly)
PC version always had that option to save anywhere even in the unmodded version
You'd simply opt to not use the save anywhere feature if you don't want to use it.
dude just dont use it then, you can always use the original save points
I would complain if it was something it makes automatically, but since it's something you have absolute control of then simply don't use it.
wtf dont save then, no one is forcing you
Yes
Sh2 on pc for me runs my CPU ridiculously hot! Not sure why. Only game I've found that does this besides gta4
Do GTA vice city or one of the other 3d era GTA games.
