You know, I miss the days when you could go on these never ending deep dives into youtube discovering all kinds of cool shit. Now you have to know what you're looking for to get to obscure stuff like this. I dont know why this was recommended to me, probably because I listened to some Pig Destroyer last week, the sad thing is that with the current algorithm, it's a dead end anyway that only redirects you back to talkshow clips, "educational" youtube channels with 4+ million subs and every other video you have all ready seen 4 months ago.
@@Massivecarcrash I know I got recommended this because I was looking for Japanese grindcore bands at the time, but it was kind of refreshing knowing that people like me have been recommended an obscure video with under 1,000 views. I don't know why, but it just is. Like a small community of some sort maybe? But you hit the nail on the head with the current TH-cam algorithm, I swear to god the majority of my recommended section is just the same shit I've been seeing every few months, some videos being videos I've already seen. There's a lot of stuff I'm not even interested in that has been showing up for months, you would think it would know you don't want to see it after its been showing up in your recommended for that long but I guess not. I have a separate TH-cam account for this exact issue, I'm trying to get the algorithm to give me obscure shit like this. I upload obscure albums once in a while to help with it (even though I'm not sure if that would help, I mainly do it because its kind of fun). It seems like TH-cam as a whole has been going downhill every year since its creation. Though I would say 2008-early 2013 was the prime of TH-cam.

TH-cam was a criss cross of winding small roads leading all over the place to small villages and towns of obscure nature, you would never know what was around the next corner. Now it's a one way highway between gentrified cities with fewer and fewer off ramps.
