Chaplains are the spiritual back bone. Them being on the battle field should be inspiring and encourage others to fight harder. Or in game terms, enable the players to get in and do as much damage as possible for a short amount of time. He's not a dps class, but support buff. His special tactic could be multi-functional combining no knock back and interruptions, faster movement (reloading, attack speed), and a damage bonus that increases with how much contested health you have. Or stuff along those lines. Tie it to that tether mechanic they tried to to implement, but make it where the buff is stronger the closer you are to the chaplain while the ability is activated.
... he's both support and dps. It's a rare power-class, along with the librarian and tech-marine, that do not belong with the "rank-and-file" marines within this game.
tell you what, how about the devs just do nothing and you can wait the next 2 decades for a modder to make a game like space marine 2 from scratch. Honestly, you're acting as if space marine 2 without mods is terrible when it's really one of the best games this past year. But of course, you all keep demanding more even though they've already given you a lot with more and more on the way.
@@bostonianful Not to forget that everything new they want to add has to apparently also go through games workshop first, and I think we all know how GW is with these things
I would like to point out, that even if the meme about Leandros being a snitch or whatever, he is a Chaplain, and should be treated as such. They can say what they want about him holding the codex closely in space marine 1. But now he has elevated into a chaplain, and the fact that you think you can be a loyalist and talking about him in such a way just shows how disconnected from the Codex Astartes you really are. Leandros despite his zealous loyalty to the emperor, is still an loyal subject in all its glory and a true chaplain that now leads many battle brothers into war. One does not simply become a chapter Chaplain by idle zealousness. He has most likely trodden many battlefields and likely pulled many battle brothers out from certain death due to his zealous nature.
He didn’t even properly snitch to his superiors. He was supposed to report sus behavior to Calgar, not the Inquisition. If anything, he is a borderline rogue for what he did.
@@Eckskalibur Still, its not unheard of to turn to the inquisition if they are readily available. But even if we say that its not warranted to report it through those means. Do you think Leandross stole a Chaplain position or cheated the system in the Ultramarines chapter?! However you want to paint this picture, it remains that he is a Chaplain of the Ultramarines, with their father being the author of the Codex. Also, its funny to see people act like "snitching" in the 40k grimdark future is something bad. Our human values dont apply to the Astartes. So us plebian humans might see Leandros as someone bad. While 90% of his own chapter considering him a chapter hero.
The three classes they gotta add is a chaplain, an apothecary, and a librarian, with their respective heretic counterparts being a word bearer, an emperor’s child, and a thousand son.
I can understand why we didn't get a thousand sons heretic astartes to play as in the Eternal War at launch, but now I think it wouldn't be "repetitive" to have them both in the PvE and the PvP. Perhaps in a future update to colours or chapters within the Eternal War we get to see them.
Do the Ultramarines Chaplain with a Hate-Mace DESTROYS the Tyranids in Astartes Overhaul Mod please. Praise be to the Iron King (Iron Gaming 40k/Classic Gaming 40k/Star Gaming TV), the Steel Knight (Fixer), and the Supreme Rampager (Ram). NOTE: SPACE KING is a TH-cam sci-fi comedy animated series created and owned by Flashgitz and is absolutely NOT based on and connection to Warhammer 40,000. 💪🙏👍
Loving the armour, but it is just a hammer...I've never seen a 2 handed crozius in the lore...anyone else? Shame it doesn't have specific attacks, but I guess that would be too much to expect from a Mod?
Leandros enters the battlefield everyone just shoots him and even the xenon and 1000 sons look at each other thinking what's up with that 😂😂
OMG, he has a special skill, too! I would like the logo on his left pauldron to be customizable, I want to play as a Black Templars' Chaplain!
Nah its just the one of the fist weapon

Modders continue to better jobs than the actual devs themselves.
Exactly...shit is sad lol
this is only a reskin, gadriel's skill, hammer reskin, leandros skin, litterally nothing new

Leangross wishes he did more than pontificate on the Codex and snitch on his superiors.

LETS GOOOO BATTLE CRY CHAPLIN! 🤝❤🔥🫡
How gonna make chaplain with blood raven mark.

According to 40k lore, I thought chaplains are supposed to carry a mase for a weapon?
This better be different Chaplain, because if it's still Leandros under that helmet, i know i'm just letting tyranids rip him apart all day long.
This is Gadriel under the helmet. According to the mod, Gadriel becomes a chaplain and Chairon an apothecary

Yes Space Marine 2 is still gonna make money and stay fun
😂7:33😂
Daaaaang modders got better skins than the devs
As I know, it's a model of Leandros from the story mode :D
Curious to know what his special skill does
It looks like Gadriel's special where it's an AoE burst but for Chaplain, I hope it's a team-wide buff and you can choose which buff (Litanies)
Is mod?
Yes
i still suck at this game just a few mins on very hard difficulty im dead lol
Куплю игру после того, как в ней появятся библиарии.
This is a mod tho
He gets hit from behind by a Tyranid warrior and his healthbar doesn't even drop a millimeter? This is on baby mode?
I play only on Ruthless and Lethal lvls
New mod*
It's not a new mod. It's a new class (WIP). But yes, it's a modded content (read the title and the description of this video)
I have to play Leandros?! Ew!
