People often complain about the dearth of creativity in heavy metal videos but I always felt the clips from Heartwork, this one and the title track were well made, as they intersperse band footage with a touch more creativity than usual. Or maybe I just love Carcass that fucking much. One of the few extreme metal bands worthy of getting a tattoo of, but what to get?

Hell yes, particularly the Death & Suffocation picks. Both were WAY ahead w/ their respective sounds (Death and how they evolved with the more melodic angle, and Suffo with Frank's ABSURDLY guttural vocals, and the band's more "brutal" death metal-ish sound).
The lyrics, the instrumentation, this was something strange among death metal bands at the time. Carcass will forever be one of my favorite bands because of this album. And it became a defininate game changer with what people thought death metal to be.

To me it's more of such a radical change from the second album to 3rd and onward. I prefer the newer stuff over the grindcore.

Working a tasteful blues riff into the framework of a grind/death metal song is a testament to Bills amazing songwriting.
