I have been watching your videos for years and still learn stuff to help me with my jobs. I’m going to start washing the plastic beyond my panels and make sure I have a cup of coffee when I watch your videos. I should be getting my 1.1 tip any day now for my Walcom HTC Clear and I think I’ll try dropping my pressure from 29 to 27psi to get my metallics to lay better. Anyway, thanks again for making videos and sharing new tech and tricks.
Dude please keep making videos. You're videos are the best and so informative. Really inspired me in my painting 👍🏽 even bought the walcoms base and clear. 1.3 & 1.2 and they are absolutely faultless 🙌🏾 thanks man
Buen trabajo👍🏼👍🏼 ,entonces no haces todo el proceso loco de ppg para ese codigo?si no que lo pintas como cualquier otro carro solo que usas la misma precion todo el tiempo ?? Saludosss
Great painting skills! Job looks awesome Gabriel!💯On the first coat of clear stop about 2” away from the adjoining panel to minimize “refraction” especially on silvers…

Beautiful paint job Gabe . Watch all your videos. I’m a big fan . I’m also a professional painter. Your information an tips have really helped me. Really appreciate all the help. Is the 1.1 a lot slower than the 1.2 ? To clear with . I’ve have purchased the Walcom spray guns off your site . Mine has a 1.3 .
Been waiting for this one 🙌🏻 Gabe, top fan love your work! You’ve vids have taught me some skills, thank you 🙏 purchased 360 light 1.2 haven’t put the gun down do I need to add a 1.1 to my collection? What’s the difference between the two? Microfibre cloths what do you wash them with come there end of use? Peace ✌️
My 1st coat is about 80%, next bit slower and bigger overlap. I spray at 25-27psi, fluid is one turn in from wide open to 8 0'clock and get shit orange peel ;D
No need to reply Gabriel, but love you and your work. And in that order. Ha ha. Anyone else noticing this guy using BOTH hands with the gun. Not that easy to do, so it shows his mastery of the trade. Nice! BTW - you should have one-hundred times the views.
I Like! Like! Like 😊 great video as always Gabe I love what you do so never stop. Car looks amazing when I watch you lay the clear I always wonder how you get it so flat and glassy but that's why you are there doing it and I'm not! 😂🙏👍 John UK
I’m always surprised at how the insurance companies allow blends off of bumpers for you guys in Ontario. Here in Saskatchewan we would be forced to butt match the bumper to the hood and fenders. Nice job!
Man, that thing came out great. I might need to give prime another look. Ive been using special x40Di on every one lately. Which has been working great too. Luckily Mazda seems to be pretty good with the consistency of that color across their lineup. Thanks for the video
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS Yea not lowering the pressure is great advice. Makes a huge difference. I also tried another little experiment on the last one I sprayed. And took what was left of my 490 wet bed and added a little of the color to it. Maybe around 15-20%. And used that for my control coat. Just to see if it would kill the metallic even more. And it actually worked well enough and made the blend so seamless that ill probably continue doing it. It definitely got it even closer to that metal look of the factory paint.
Nice vid on 46G, as a certified tech rep, I would suggest when doing spray outs and comparing to the vehicle, make sure “up” is “up”, don’t compare the color sideways, especially on 46G
I had a problem on air pressure sudden rise or drop.. I set on the spray gun regulator at 2bar,a few minutes later it rise or drop more than that. Kinda annoying..specially when u had to focus when painting.. Any ideas or solutions?.. 😥
Amazing like always , keep it coming Gabe learning so much
Thank youuuuu

Love your videos and the Walcom I purchased!
Why do you use the plastic reversed? Instead of having the paint treated side facing up?
Much love! Mistake
@@MOTIVATEDPAINTERS ah ok didn't know if that was a trick you had up your sleeves lol. Can't wait for the next video!

Not lowering the pressure works wonders with this color

Yeaaaaa Gabe!!
Hay Gabriel I got a question for you? Did you took any class lessons to lear how to paint? You paint really good.🔥🔥
I have been doing it for a while now. Started cleaning floors and bathroom at the shop and learned slowly
Thanks for replying man 😀😁😎
Beautiful job man! I had 2 this week this color. In diamont it’s a 3 stage 😅
Haha thanks!!!
Nice job!)
My first 46g tomorrow hope it comes out like this 🥲
Did ppg change this formula? I thought they recommend over black and no drop coats?
I thought about the same isn’t 3 stage it was 2 stage simple and easy great paint system
I don't follow what they say I had never had to
You said you were laying down the 520 nice and heavy but every time i do that with it, it always pinches back. Whats your secret!!!
Ps what temp is your booth when spraying clear? Ive been setting mine at 70-75 degrees
I don't let it flash to long. Nothing over 4 minutes then bake right away at 120 for 20 mins
I had a problem on air pressure sudden rise or drop..
I set on the spray gun regulator at 2bar,a few minutes later it rise or drop more than that.

Hmm not sure could it be your compressor? Try another regulator and see if it does the same thing
