Whether you see yourself as a psychological personality matrix, or a DNA series, or some combination of the two, you realize that you'll not only likely recur, but we each have a non-zero chance of 'recurring' more than once at the same time/planet.
The 16 principles will be a great replacement for the outdated 7 principles posited by the kybalion. (Not that it's an actual hermetic text anyways) Such a wonderful innovation in authentic hermetic doctrines. Thank you David Litwa
Nothing is going to replace the 7 principles of the Kybalion. They aren’t outdated, because every principle applies today and is supported by original Hermetic texts. Also, the significance of 7 principles aligns with the 7 classical planets, 7 planetary metals, and 7 stages of alchemical transformation. No replacement necessary, nothing outdated to speak of.
@@justinunion7586 you're just straight up lying. I'll only believe that if you show me the application of each of the kybalion principles assimilated to the classical texts of hermeticism like the corpus Hermeticum and the Asclepius. So many of you kybalionist make this point but you never back it. Prove to me how the 7 principles align with the classical metaphysical understanding of hermeticism cosmology. I welcome you. The very author of the kybalion, William Walker Atkinson. Was a forefront figure in the new thought movement. He created the kybalion. The Kybalion isn't even a classical text or a hermetic one for that reason. It was made in 1908. And based on English translated yogic texts from Hinduism, Theosophy, and the Mentalism movement, read about William Walker Atkinson and it makes sense as to why the kybalion doesn't line up with the classical ones. The Kybalion is very outdated. By nearly 100 years. It's not classical nor based on classical texts. Thus it's not retaining to Hermeticism and is more so a new age alchemical perspective and what it's based on is not hermeticism. We have much clearer understanding of hermeticism in the last 20 years. Even more then the last 50. And dramatically more clearer since 1908. So yes. It's an outdated perspective Don't argue with me unless you have ample evidence. I won't reply and you'd just be wasting my time because I've had this argument with a kybalion enthusiast before. They don't supply evidence. Only use poor reasoning or just dogmatic acceptance.
@@protagtom Your comment was removed or you deleted it. You called me a liar, which I am not. Sure, I can give evidence that everything from the Kybalion is based on Hermetic text. I’ll with the first principle. Mentalism. This principle states that the universe is mental in nature and that all is mind. It emphasizes the idea that everything is connected through the realm of thought and consciousness. Hermetic support from Poimandres: “"I Thy God am the Light and the Mind which were before substance was divided from spirit and darkness from Light.” Also, “The union of the Word and the Mind produces that mystery which is called Life.” Now I’ve provided direct evidence of the compatibility between Kybalion and Hermetic Texts, showing that Kybalion is based off of Hermetic texts. It is now up to you to provide direct evidence that the Kybalion contradicts Hermetic texts and is “outdated”. Anything else would just be the ramblings of someone who vehemently dislikes the Kybalion from an emotional standpoint, rather than a logically sound place.

if you do the proper rituals or meditations in hermetism youre consciousness WILL change, meaning your perception of self and the outer world and your awareness.(NO DRUGS REQUIRED) find a good teacher, not an academic.
Wonderfully and beautifully explained! I also pray the Prayer of Thanksgiving from the Nag Hammadi daily at my altar.

@beatsbyjiro8291 what makes someone a good teacher? And why can't a good teacher have PhD after their name?
